I have to agree with Tate on this one... That cue is not the prettiest compared to the cues produced now, but it does have a ton of character and there is little doubt that people will fight to own one of these in the NEAR future. The market is huge for this cue.
I laid awake since the cue was first listed... trying to figure out a way that my wife would let me buy the cue... We have the cash, but she will NEVER see eye to eye with me on pool. I even plotted to call my mother to ask her to buy it for me (that's how whacked-out I got!). Haha!
I will let it go.... but I think I need to find a billiards support group around here.

I just wanted to point out that Gina's were like Balabushka's in the sense that the pro players who used them are what made them a great cue. For 5 to 10 years they were the cue the pros wanted to use. Even the plain ones.

I emailed the seller the first day and he said it had a lift to it near the joint but looked straight when rolled and looked at from above.I assumed anyone interested in that cue would have contacted the sellerFAST_N_LOOSE said:

A lift near the joint?? Dang! I am guessing that you spoke to the owner and the e-mail response came from the "I Sold It" company... That is the impression I got.

What a GREAT title and idea for a screenplay, Rib Doner!
Don't worry...I'll definitely give you a "Story By" credit, so that the studios have to give you a piece of the back end, which in Hollywood, doesn't mean what it sounds like and is actually a good thing.
And yes...it is a great investment cue...but I guess my lead anti-hero just can't wait for a more "natural" progression to his cue's fate...I mean...value.
It's a bit of a STALKER cue fan story as well, really. You know...he kills that which he most loves.

...I thought that perhaps these would help infuse the discussion with a kind of Rat Pack Classicism - or what I like to call a time when Hustlers knew how to COCKTAIL and still SHOOT STRAIGHT.
Actually...like Dean Martin on his TV show, surrounded by his Gold Diggers (YES...I am that old)...his fancy crystal glass was never teeming with anything other than ginger ale and soda.
I know...kinda' diappointing really. And the slightly fuzzy, by the end of show...a litlle more tipsy swagger...all an act. Genious really. So convincing.
So, it wasn't really about what you were drinking, as long as it LOOKED LIKE you were drinking and WINNING.
So...here it is. I'll have it in my greedy little ol' skoolin' palms soon enough.
And sorry about the snipe Jedi V Man. I had to lie in quiet wait on this one.
Didn't want to tell my hand. I was compelled to have it. Felt like I was slow playing pocket kings...wondering if you had pocket aces.
