Last Day For Gina Titlist Conversion on Ebay!!

I have to agree with Tate on this one... That cue is not the prettiest compared to the cues produced now, but it does have a ton of character and there is little doubt that people will fight to own one of these in the NEAR future. The market is huge for this cue.

I laid awake since the cue was first listed... trying to figure out a way that my wife would let me buy the cue... We have the cash, but she will NEVER see eye to eye with me on pool. I even plotted to call my mother to ask her to buy it for me (that's how whacked-out I got!). Haha!

I will let it go.... but I think I need to find a billiards support group around here.

While that is probably a certainty (as you have owned one), I believe my point has a part in it as well, no?

Yes, you had it all right.

I just wanted to point out that Gina's were like Balabushka's in the sense that the pro players who used them are what made them a great cue. For 5 to 10 years they were the cue the pros wanted to use. Even the plain ones.

I'd Be Careful, It Mentions Nothing About The Cue Being Straight.
I emailed the seller the first day and he said it had a lift to it near the joint but looked straight when rolled and looked at from above.I assumed anyone interested in that cue would have contacted the seller:confused:

I just went back and looked at the auction and he answered a question about straightness but thats not the answer he gave me the first day, maybe he caught on that thats what is the most important thing and now he says hes not a pool cue expert and doesnt have a table to test it on.Like you said marcus,be careful, thats the first clue when they say there not pool cue experts:D

I don't know all of Tad's early work... but that sure looks like a Palmer to me... Ask Tate... he is the expert!

A lift near the joint?? Dang! I am guessing that you spoke to the owner and the e-mail response came from the "I Sold It" company... That is the impression I got.

Not Palmer. I would have to call Tad on that one. Looks like he copied Paradise before he copied Harvey Martin! :p

My Buddy CAIN got it. I might have to try to trade him something for it.

$3200 for a Titlist conversion with a couple of round inlays - who says Gina's suck anyway? That's a lot of money for a living cue maker.

Who ever anwser's the email for thataccount is about all I could tell you.A cue like that is not really a player anyway so alittle lift might be ok to a serious collector. 40 plus years old and I guess you cant ask it to be perfect:D

If I were EG I'd be VERY, VERY worried. Maybe take out a couple more life insurance policies, hire a bodyguard, etc. CD knows it's a pittance for a deceased masters work.;)

The ORRIGINAL CUE PIMP.......dirty deeds done dirt cheap:)

P.S. He might trade it for that SAM BOTI (u know..the one u got bout 25 hun in) if YOU gave him a little boot.

A Noir MASTERPIECE!

DECEASED MASTERS

What a GREAT title and idea for a screenplay, Rib Doner!

Don't worry...I'll definitely give you a "Story By" credit, so that the studios have to give you a piece of the back end, which in Hollywood, doesn't mean what it sounds like and is actually a good thing.

And yes...it is a great investment cue...but I guess my lead anti-hero just can't wait for a more "natural" progression to his cue's fate...I mean...value.

It's a bit of a STALKER cue fan story as well, really. You know...he kills that which he most loves.

BRILLIANT!

It would take the ORRIGINAL CUE PIMP to recognize all of the potential in the plot...I mean...the sale.

My people will be in touch with your people and I'll try to set up a pitch meeting with Warner Bros. on Monday.

Thanks Joe!!!

And I love your website. One of the very few cue website with price listed.
Not forgetting to mentioned, nice cue at low price. :D

Since everyone already saw it...

...I thought that perhaps these would help infuse the discussion with a kind of Rat Pack Classicism - or what I like to call a time when Hustlers knew how to COCKTAIL and still SHOOT STRAIGHT.

Actually...like Dean Martin on his TV show, surrounded by his Gold Diggers (YES...I am that old)...his fancy crystal glass was never teeming with anything other than ginger ale and soda.

I know...kinda' diappointing really. And the slightly fuzzy, by the end of show...a litlle more tipsy swagger...all an act. Genious really. So convincing.

So, it wasn't really about what you were drinking, as long as it LOOKED LIKE you were drinking and WINNING.

So...here it is. I'll have it in my greedy little ol' skoolin' palms soon enough.

And sorry about the snipe Jedi V Man. I had to lie in quiet wait on this one.

Didn't want to tell my hand. I was compelled to have it. Felt like I was slow playing pocket kings...wondering if you had pocket aces.

Imagine looking at these in an old 3M Viewer. And yes...once again...I am that old.
