This is the last Deano cue that was sold and my understanding is no more will be made.

It's ebony with natural linen at the joint and butt end with a white Hoppe ring.

Shaft weight is 4.3 oz
Butt weight is 15.4 oz
Full Cue at 19.7 oz

I got the cue looked it over, stroked through my bridge hand a few times and realized it's not going to replace my player so I'm offering it up here. I've never hit a ball with it. My understanding is this has the newer taper that isn't as "fat" as the originals. It feels like a stiff Euro taper to me. 2 pts are pretty even and about 1/2" shorter than the other 2 that are pretty even.

I don't have caliper but the tip feels around 12.8-12.9

This was indeed the last Deano,It ended up free to stroke here thanks to the New York Yankees winning the world series.

Deano will make no more of these, these were made to hit good and play great,if you give it an hour or two you might decide to keep it

What Deano said. I found the same thing in that I didn't give mine enuff time. I took it out of the bad cue closet a few weeks ago and found a completely different cue. Give it a dozen games or so and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised. Have fun and good luck.

I have read the reviews and have no doubt it would be a fine player. I owned a wood pin Starkey that hit great so I'm guessing this would too. To be clear though I took a $350 chance on this cue with Dean's offer of money back if the Yankees take the series. Being the standup guy he is, when they won the money came back to me. I have 2 players that I really like so my thought was unless this cue really "wowed" me I would be selling it. I felt the value would be higher if it was unchalked and not played. I am open to offers on it.

does the shaft fit flush with the cue? it looked a little off in the picture. where's the balance point with the shaft attached?

I checked to make sure and the joint fits together fine. There are some darker areas of finish around the natural colored linen that you're seeing there. The balance point looks to be about 18 1/4". Hope that helps.

Isn't this amazing ,I sold 78 of these for over $300 without a single picture, and this nice one isn't selling for $275 .Did it ever occur to all the knockers that they don't know what they are about.

Danny Janes made these last few for me,and I suspect they are excellant cues,he has a great reputation for quality cue making. There will be no more made.I am still of the opinion these cues play better than anything I ever used,so if you don't mind taking a chance on the cue,I think you will be pleased.

It is the last one we had,and we have no plans to make more so this may be your final opportunity to get a new one
