I literally can't help myself. They toppled it over getting it into my truck, but it survived with just bent fins on the air cooler. 2475p7.5HP. Has low oil shut off, air cooler, and automatic drain. It had been in service and the guy said it kept tripping the onboard motor overload. They had ANOTHER there that had what sounded like spun bearings or some other bad thing. They told me the crank was bent, but when I got there and checked it out....seemed okay. Figure worse case I have either a good pump OR a good motor to resell and I can use the air cooler, tank, automatics....ect. I'm thinking they were running 8 gauge to the motor and it was drawing too many amps. Guys said it would work, but they kept having to reset it. I hooked it up with 6/3 on a 60 amp and tadaa!!!

Maintain that machine like a train and she'll be around to power the tools of your great grandkids.
Those compressors can out work a OX.
The IR brand is high quality.
The older charge-air pro is a division of IR as well<~ they might of sold out recently , if you see any don't be afraid to pick em up.

Nice score.

Nice buy Randy.

We have 2 5HP compressors and one of them is an IR 2475.

In the IR line up, the 2475 seems to be the best choice. To me it's the most "commercial" model.

Is this 60 or 80 gallon?

It's an 80...7.5hp...single phase..

This is also an 80....and up for sale soon...

5hp Baldor..single phase..

I was hoping this would be 3 phase... I'll keep an eye out for a Baldor in 3 phase.

It draws 30 plus amps while running and a TON more when it starts up..
