Latest edition of the Scooter and Tedder show....

There was a second incident in Ohio which either Scooter (Fredland Goodman) or Chad Noureddine were arrested. They 2 thieves did it right in front of a surveillence camera, pretty stupid. With the first charge in Kentucky they got off with a $254 fine and 7 days in jail that was counted a s time served on a 90 day sentence . No idea what the second Ohio arrest got them, but the one repeat offender probablywill get a bigger charge in the 3-6 month category. No doubt they are out on bail and lawyered up, just stalling and awaiting sentencing. Hence why there is nothing further about the sentence.

North Ridgeville

By Michael Fitzpatrick

North Ridgeville police are wrapping up an investigation they say should result in charges against men they believe robbed a change machine at a local car wash.

Two men were captured on film stealing $800 from a change machine at the Wash Wizard car wash, 36360 Center Ridge Road, on June 11, according to Detective Patrick West. The men didn’t use a weapon in the crime, but instead used a tricked-out dollar bill they would insert into the machine and then pull back out after it had dispensed change.

“It’s a bill that has some apparatus attached to it so they can pull it back out after the machine has dispensed the coins,” West said.

In tracking down the thieves, West turned to the Internet. He also disseminated photos of the two men caught in the act by the car wash security cameras to media outlets in hopes someone would recognize the men and call police.

On a daily basis, West would sit down at his computer and search news stories on Google for similar crimes.

“Sure enough, we found one,” said West, of a car wash theft he came across in Frankfort, Ky., in early July, where four men were caught robbing a car wash there in the same manner as the one in North Ridgeville was victimized.

“We contacted the law enforcement agency in Kentucky, got their reports and the booking photo, and sure enough, it’s the same M.O. and one of the same individuals,” West said.

West compared the security photo snapped in North Ridgeville with the booking mug shots to match his suspect with one of the men arrested in Kentucky, although he wouldn’t identify which individual in the Kentucky crime he believes was involved in the theft here.

Charged in connection with the thefts in Frankfort were two men from northeast Ohio: Fredland Goodman, 29, of Cleveland, and Chad Noureddine, 22, of Parma. Goodman pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a slug and unlawful taking, both misdemeanors. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 83 days suspended provided he not commit similar crimes in Franklin County, Ky., and he stay out of Franklin County. He was also fined $254.

Noureddine also pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a slug and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 83 suspended, provided he not commit a similar crime, and he was ordered to stay out of Franklin County. He was also fined $254, according to a spokesperson for the Franklin County District court.

West would not say which man – Goodman or Noureddine – was involved in the theft in North Ridgeville, but said one was. He said he knows the identity of the second individual, but not his current location. He did say he was getting ready to take the case to the Lorain County grand jury.

And while West’s use of Google helped him crack the case, he also received tips from the public after pictures of the two men caught on camera while committing the crime in North Ridgeville appeared in local papers and on local newscasts.

“We got some local tips, but we also got some tips from out of town that aided our investigation. The great thing about the Internet is, people anywhere can view them, and that’s part of what aided our investigation in identifying these people,” West said.

Gee, you left out the best part:

And an added twist to the story: The two suspects in North Ridgeville were also apparently semiprofessional pool players, according to police. The two apparently needed to work on their games if they turned to robbing coin machines for money.

“If they are doing this, then their earning on the pool circuit must not be sufficient,” West said.

One thing the article brings to the fore LOUD AND CLEAR is that law enforcement is using the Internet more these days to solve crimes.

Knowing this, some topics about gambling should not be discussed in the open as much as they are. Gambling on pool is illegal in some jurisdictions.

Quarter Olympics

Last SBE was like the Quarter Olympics with Scooter, Russian Kenny and the gang...closest to the wall, the table spot, top of the AC vents ect... No wonder with all the stolen booty. Idiots.

Are you sure about that Jam? You mean like printing up 2 people's names on shirts and putting 7 ahead for $10,000 dollars? Nah, that couldn't hurt anyone. LOL :)

Pretty lenient fines. You would think that they would have to pay back the losses of the car wash owners at the very least in lieu of jail time.

And some Community Service work. Maybe washing cars in the nude on Main St. for free for two days.

Yoy would be surprized if you all knew how many pool players and or the backers, that been going around for years with the BILL or the TOOL.

There was a fine pool player (Tony was his first name) that was caught inside a soda machine or washer, changer ect, not to many years ago.

So this has been a sceam going on for some time now in the pool world!

Yeah, I was in a poolroom in early 90s and he was just beginning then. This was a huge source of income for the gambling players. I saw them building the bill one night. Scotch tape, scissors and the bill. Thing is if you're not careful and use vaseline, you will strip the gears. That is the expensive part for the owner. There was one player that tried this on the room's poker machines. All the payouts were recorded and easy to track to him after 11 bill acceptors were striped. That was over 10g. The next week he was on crutches with a broken leg. Lesson learned.

There are other ways of beating really old bill acceptors, but when you xerox a bill it becomes counterfeiting. And that is serious trouble. Also, easier to get caught.

Photocopied bills will not work on the newer style changers! Bill acceptors in the changers like you find at car washes read off the nearly invisible to the naked eye magnetic strip that is in the bill. Also if the changer is set up correctly "pulled bills" will be ripped apart.

Bill and Billies pool room in Glen Burnie, md, just outside of Baltimore, was one of the best action spots of all times in the 80s 90s and some of 2000s, good amont of the local players there were vending Machine repair men, the only part of the machine they serviced was the money box and bill valadator(spell).

You can look on google rite now and see real crooks in the act of robbing soda machine, vending machine.

I know what Scooter did wasnt a soda machine, but its in the same area of crime.

This problem is in every state nowadays, just look it up on computer!

Sure it is wrong to steal, but for the amount of money that soda machine and car wash bandits make it is well worth it to some.

Its very hard to get caught in the act of doing this crime, unless you are on camera of course, guys go 10-20 years before they get caught, stealing well over 1 million dollars.

And when they get caught, they can only be charged with the machine they were caught in, unless they are on camers some where else.

So in this scam, someone can steal for years and years, tax free money and when they do finally get caught, no JAIL time, cause charges are all minor misdemenors.
