Well, there has been no glare of trumpets with this round of checks, leaving those who have not received them very much in the dark. One of the players emailed Lindsay and asked where they were (edited to leave out names):

Hello Dear Lindsay,

Hope you and the fellow staff had a Great Merry Christmas & Wonderful New Year,,,,,, Same for all the PLAYERS, many who may have personally suffered all kinds of ill fates and financial disappointments as their "PROMISED" Christmas present & happy 2007 from what turned out to be numerous packets of immoral words of malice backed with broken promises. Dear Lindsay, I tried calling with no availings. So I write for EVERYONE and HOPE for a reply.

Thank you for your kind holiday wishes; Happy New Year to you and all the players you included in your email.

I got your message this morning, as I was out of the office for meetings yesterday afternoon. As far as the promised checks go, I invite you to check your front porch. The checks went out on January 8 as “PROMISED,” and many players have already confirmed receipt. As I am sure you are well aware, Mr. ____, you have to allow a few days for shipping.

I appreciate your patience, Mr. ___. Please contact me with any further questions.

Everyone have a nice weekend! Best of luck to all players participating in the Derby City Classic.

Sounds like the same BS routine that the players got immediately following Reno, can anyone confirm any of the player receiving their checks? I really wish KT would just pay and disappear, only in a perfect world I guess:(
 
As of the 12th, icode12 is the only person I have heard of that has received a check. :(

So it appears that some players have received their check and others haven't, I guess we will have to wait a few days to see if everyone get's their next installment due.

Dear Lindsay,

Why don't you get a real job, instead of being the mouthpiece for a scam artist? You're pretty cheerful and self assured for someone who is talking about a partial payment on a debt nearly six months overdue.

What's your projection for the other 67% still owed the players? At a loss for words? I thought so. Why didn't you and Deno show up at Derby City to wish everyone well personally and reassure them about their money due?

Just keep a good grip on your purse. And remember those four massive security guards you sent to escort me out of the Venetian. Deno and you may need them if you ever show your face at another pool tournament.

Trudeau is what he is, a con man extradornaire. But you and Deno are the real jokes of the IPT. Two small timers trying to act important. Good luck at the temp office.

Some day the joke will be on you. Karma has a way of doing that.

I watched part of KT's infomercial yesterday.

Over and over, the bood is free, just pay the shipping.

Fianlly, he was offered 57 million not tp publish the book. The guy is just beautiful.
 
i have been watching the Reno repeats in the UK recently and the amount of times he says garanteed prize money is amazing

this may have been covered before but why dont you all just get together and sue his ass

hey look its not my money and some may say not my business but you seem to have a pretty solid case
 
As of Monday, today, I have talked to several people on the west coast and no one has received their checks yet. Glenn Atwell, Stan Tourangeau, Ryan Keller, Mike and myself. :confused: How does someone in the UK receive theirs before US residents? Could it be that darned Fed Ex? :o

Think a lot of the Uk guys get paid by bank transfer straight into their accounts:)

hello all,just like to say that I got my cheque,s delivered by fed ex,yesterday,to the u.k.
seems strange that I would receive mine before some of you american women and gents.
lets keep our fingers crossed that the next 67% does arrive and everybody gets what they are owed.

You know whats funny... I know a guy that is still owed money ($2000.00) back from beating Mike Sigel in the challenge match. Since he had already paid his qualifier money they told him that they would mail him a check. I believed he played in a qualifier in California if i am not mistaken.......mike

That's because they're NOT an IPT player but an IPT troll. Look at their past posts. If they're not an employee, they're definitely being given a bone by someone to come on here and sing the praises of the IPT. :rolleyes:
