I'm sure this has been discussed in the past, but it seems like we have a ton of options nowadays. I'll go first... I hate me a red circle cue ball. Favorite may be the Predator, but that's not really the question. :)

I like the dynasphere cueball with the light blue markings (think it was in a Japan limited edition set or something? Can check the box next time I am at the store, but pretty sure it is). I have the Dynasphere set with the black markings. My local hall has three boxes of the limited blue dynaspheres, A box of predator (which always get used by the same group of guys) and a load of aramith sets which are pretty much entirely the red-dot ones. Think the Dynaspheres and Predator ball sets are for VIP/membership holders. Anyway, I traded out one of my two black Dynasphere cueballs for a light blue one. So, I'd say either that or a single black dot is what I like... not that I care too much to be honest.

I also like the Dynasphere. My favorite local pool room, Main Street Billiards in Mesa, AZ uses them.

Some people rave about the Brunswick Blue Circle Centennial cue ball, but it retains chalk marks worse than any premium cue ball out there, unless they have changed it.

And for all the negative things numerous people have to say about the Aramith Red Circle, it is the easiest to keep clean of chalk marks and miscue marks of all the premium cue balls, which is why we use it for our daily play sets of balls, even though we will provide Measle cue balls for those that request it.

You may be right, I just don't like the way the red circles play.

Green dot is the worst.

Worn out red circles are second worst.

The Centennial blue circle is the best but it does get dirty.

An oversized Dynamo mud ball.
The 'mudball' is not the big one. The mudball is the reg. size ball with the metal-flakes in the mix. These are the WORST cb ever. Nearly impossible to draw. Even the cb with the imbedded magnet is better than this pos. The big cb is paradise compared to either one of these.

Here is a red circle I ran into yesterday. The circle is right in the middle of the ball. It's a faint, pink semi-circle. I suspect the ball is 30 years old.

For the purposes of this thread, cue balls worn down so they are lighter than the object balls.

Red circle is my favorite. It stays clean, draws/wears better, and not distracting like the measle (or any with a large logo).

If you don’t say the big old valley mud ball then you never played with one before 😂

I like the meseal ball but it plays different and every where I play uses the the red circle so that’s what I use at home.

Least favorite cue ball? Cyclop or any ball with a magnet.
Favorite cue ball? Aramith Black

Small red circle or the heavy valley magnet ball.

Cue balls that are the same weight and size as the object balls would be my preference.
