what do you advise for a leather wrap for maintenence
i wipe my shaft down with a paper towel after use

When I go to the bar, I polish my chaps with Armor All.

Oooops, wrong thread, sorry.

If you can't find what you're looking for at Castillo's site, any shoe maker or western boot store will have sometime for you.
I find that Feibings makes a line of cleaners etc for all types of leather.

If you will use Neutral shoe polish on your leather wrap occasionally you will not have to do much else to it.

Followed up with Micro Crystalline Structured "Renaissance Wax" is the leather and linin wrap protectant, appearance, and feel Nirvana IMO.

There are many kinds of cue leather. Unless oiled or naked, most cue leathers have a urethane finish on them. Once in a while, I tamp my wrap with a damp paper towel or rag and quickly tamp with a dry terry cloth. That is all most leathers will need to maintain them well on a cue.

I agree...I am conservative with leather care. Wipe it off after you use it...an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Castillo gives good advice on their web site. Always remember that it matters what kind of leather it is. Nubuck, nude leathers, unfinished, suedes....leathers like that can stain and discolor, so be careful with them.

I should say I would expect that who-ever made the cue or installed the wrap should provide instructions for care and cleaning since they know what kind of finish the leather has.
