Might cost a little more as he will have to cut a wrap groove.IMO, Just helping to bump the thread to the top....

can you post a pic of the black snakeskin? there isnt one in that link..

and is the black lizard, "leather lizard look" i dont see it being real lizard for that price..lol..

and one last request/question.. can you post a few pics of cues you actually done..(just different examples) it would be very much appreciated..

the cue i am considering having rewrapped is a 1996 Paul Mottey, its kinda plain with just ponts and ebony on the buttsleeve.. not sure if i want black on it or not..

I agree with Pathman and would like to see some pics of the wrap materials that you are willing to install. Some of them are not pictured on your website.

Hey Guys. Just now looked back at the thread... sorry.

The SP with no wrap channel would be more because I would have to cut the channel, and the cue would have to be very straight for me to do that. I could do that for an additional $40 if the cue is straight.

As far as pics, I haven't really taken many pics of cues that I have done. Taking pictures is something you don't think about until a year later when someone on AZ asks for pictures... lol. All I can say there is I will take pics of future jobs (several are already on the way to me now from this post, which I will photograph and show you guys).

Also know that I am a satisfaction guaranteed kind of service. If you don't like the wrap job, I will either do it over, or replace the linen it originally had and refund your money. Of course, I don't want to be abused, but I will work hard to make you happy.

Here are some pics of the lizard and snake... forgive the camera quality and flash reflection... these were taken really quick just now. They are not REAL lizard, but rather real leather (pig leather, to be exact) with Lizard print... the exact same as Tiger Products materials. Very nice.

Thanks to all who have taken me up on the offer... got more than I bargained for offering that price, apparently. Also thanks for looking and considering it. Let me know what I can do for any of you.

Thanks.

JWP

It's a great deal. Makes me wish I had some cues that needed it right now!

So that begs the question, how long is this offer good until?

reference

I still could bash myself for letting pass by the chance to get the nice 5-pointer you offered lately and I'm quite sure the cue I already got from you won't stay the only one. As you were asked for pics:

Mr. Petree,

Are you offering real lizard or embossed leather?

Thanks,

Dave

Pete answered that in a previous post as follows 'they are not REAL lizard, but rather real leather (pig leather, to be exact) with Lizard print... the exact same as Tiger Products materials. Very nice.'

I had a Petree with a leather wrap, and JW does excellent work - take him up on the offer!

Had I not JUST had a new linen wrap put on my cue, I would've taken him up on it..... dammit.

Thanks to all of you guys for the kind words. I try to do the best job I can.

Just after I created this thread, I came down with bacterial conjuctivitis, a.k.a. "pink eye", and was sick for a week and a half! I would like to thank Joe, Dan, Bob and Rusty for their patience. I just got back in the shop for the first time yesterday, and all of your cues are completed and on their way back to you now. THANK YOU again.

Many people have emailed me and asked for photos of my work. Leather wrap jobs are hard to photograph well, but I have taken pictures of 4 of the cues I did the past 2 days. You can see those pictures by clicking on one of them here: http://www.oklahomabilliards.com/leatherwraps/.

Also many have asked if I will still honor the $99 special. Yes, I am still doing them for AZers for $99 including shipping back to you (US customers only, of course). Barring my getting pink eye again, they will get done and go out the day after they arrive. PM me or email jwpetree@oklahomabilliards.com to get yours done.

Thanks again guys!

Excellent job of installing a pigskin wrap on my Scruggs. I just got it back today. It is flawlessly executed and really finishes off the cue. I like the new car smell of fresh leather, also. JW is highly recommended by me to anyone. He makes a real nice jump/break cue also.
