Hi All,
With all the discussion on aiming systems (pro and con) i decided to take a lesson with Ron.....and i'm glad I did. I wanted to see first hand how the 90/90 system worked and was impressed. I was pocketing balls over over the table and wasn't even looking at the pockets. By the way, i know there was much discussion about pivot points and you do pivot at the hips. I didn't move my bridge hand or pivot the cue at all.....it's all from the hips. I had a difficult time visualizing this and that's why I went to see him.
Ron is a great instructor. He is patient and explains all in detail.
He is absolutely amazing when it comes to banks and kicks.....we also spent some time on those aspects but more on that in subsequent lessons.
He doesn't punch a clock regarding when the lesson starts and stops, in fact, the 2 hour lesson turned to 3 hours with no extra charge.
If you live in the area, it's definitely worth having a session with him. I know i'll be back to see him in the near future to continue aiming and working on other topics.
Just some feedback on this topic.
