I just read Fatboys thread and I thought we might ought to move to the next logical step. That step is we need to cheer on Team America and everyone on the team as long as they represent America. No matter who is on the team or acting as coach that is our team this year and i hope they leave any and all baggage at the door and get down on the felt and run out like mad dogs.

Bet this there ain't going to be a bunch of Team Europe fans hating on a player or their coach. I hope there are fans in the stand and that they are cheering for our team.

Go Team USA. We need to get behind our team and focus on winning some matches. Keep this thread positive and offer support to any and all that are competing or leading.

The advance sale of tickets is larger than before and they are adding mor bleacher seats. I suspect that will be more USA sweaters to cheer the US team on.:wink:
 
I normally root for the American team, but I am pretty apathetic over the whole thing due to CW and the clear politics that are taking place, it sours the whole thing a little for me. I hope Mike plays well, I want to see SVB play like the pro he is, I kind of hope team Charlie (Archer, Putnam, Morris) fall on their face.

Those three guys are tied at the hip. Rodney was sitting right next to Archer when he had that stream interview where he announced the ABP, Putnam is in effect a Archer fanboy and ragged on Earl the whole time he commentated the challenge match they played and was one of the few main posters on the ABP account here on AZBilliards, and Archer is the obvious right hand man right beside Charlie at the head of the ABP and part of the plan to use DP and the ABP in tandem to attempt to exert even more control over the future of the sport.

It is really hard to put the blinders on, forget all the BS, and just route for team USA. It would require a willful attempt at ignorance and oblivious idiocy to do it. I simply do not want to bother trying to do that.
 
I would but team America and the politics involved is a joke this year. I will not conform. Europe, Europe, Europe!
 
How about I cheer for the USA and all of the playing members of the team!

Yes! By all means! We must root for "our" American team because Americans are better than people from any other country, and they all hate us for our freedom, anyway. If you don't agree you're not a "real" American and should leave the country.

If Fatboy is supporting something, that should be your first clue to turn and run the other way as fast as you can.
 
All the BS aside no matter who is playing or coaching team USA i will always route for them. I hope USA wins just so it can shut everyone up and stop the wining and complaining.

I may even give you 100/99on the money, if you ask nicely or make another funny.
