Lets see pictures of your Player Cue, that everyday Cue, it don't have to be fancy

little off topic, but how do you guys list underneath your posts what you play with? like playing cues, case, J/Bs and such. never figured that one out

okay, I feel like an idiot now, but had to ask sometime. thanks

Whats the difference? With an avatar like that, no ones looking down
anyway.

Just got my new player.

For those that know me, they know I've owned a couple cues...and mainly only for a couple weeks each (at most).

This one is special, and will be with me for quite awhile. A BIG thanks to Hunter for making it mine...and for Jerry Rauenzahn for the intense attention to detail!!

I wish I had time to play pool more, but work is keeping my hands full. When I do have the chance to play (use the word very loosely) I bring this puppy along.

Figured I join the fun

my players....

07 Darrin Hill Full Splice. Great playing cue and the Micarta ferrules are fantastic!

04 BlueGrass 6 pointer. Just acquired this one and its REAL close to being the best hitting cue I've ever played with (and yes I've said that before about at least 2 or 3 cues ) but this is the real deal. Just a PERFECT instrument IMO

i usually go to lightning practice sessions and even impromptu money games at a moment's notice. to get to the venue quickly, i use my motorcycle. bringing my 2x4 mcdermott shooter's collection case is difficult as it is a little heavy. so i decided to have a cue made just for my rush-hush sessions... i bring this cue only in a 1x1 hard case which is very light and i also use this cue for breaking. :)

got this cue for only US$190

forearm: ashwood (lightly-stained)
buttsleeve: ashwood (lightly-stained)
handle: hard rock maple
wrap: genuine leather
shaft: hi-density straight-grained hard rock maple
rings: ebony + german silver
tip: super pro
ferrule: white pvc
joint collar: off-white pvc
butt cap: off-white pvc
taper: 13mm
length: 58"
weight: 19oz

* please don't mind the JPs... they're not the actual JPs for this cue. my JPs for this cue are made of mun ebony. :)

I play APA 8 ball and 9 ball also NEBL 8 and 9 in connecticut . Here are the cues I regulary take, 2 are scruggs I picked up and had mike cochran tune up for me and the 3rd is a TS phantom I had built. I read the post about the phantom and a lot of guys trashed it but take it from me that when I have to win the match I always grab the phantom, it just feels right.

Those who trashed the Phantom never hit with one. I have one and it is IMO the hitting cue on the planet. And I've owned and played with most. Tim only made a couple of these and those who own one play with it.

I switch back and forth a bit... but this 60" Bob Frey ebony SP is the one that I play with the most... and for a good while I was using a 30" OB-1 shaft with the butt.. but am now back to the original shaft (for a while).

I'm loving all these cues folks. Remember it don't have to be fancy or expensive. If you are proud of what you play with, post it up for all to see.

My daily player (when I get to play).

It's the first John Davis cue I bought. I believe 8ball rat owned it for a
short time also, but I could be wrong.
