I am looking to have snakewood in my next cue and I want to see some designs using this unique wood. (Inlays, points, butt sleeves, butterflies, maybe even forearms?) Lets see what all you guys have!

I believe the 1997 Predator LE-5 manufactured by Falcon?? had snake wood points and butt sleeves. Also the SE-6 and SE-7 built by Longoni had snakewood inlayed points in the forearms and butt sleeves.

Snakewood on the joint...interesting, how does this cue play?? I would think there would be some cracking issues unless it just sits in a case...

I get asked the same question about my snakewood handle Kikel. If the wood is stabilized and finished properly, it's not an issue. Dave Kikel was very sure of the wood quality prior to making mine. No cracking or wood movement at all on my cue

i remember seeing it forsale i was close to snatching it, i like motteys style and i love snakwood.

Yeah, that was a nice cue. I wasn't really surprised that no one jumped on it seeing how at that time I had no trader information to review and I was still fairly new around here. I was lucky that Don Sherman took a chance on me and traded with the SouthWest. He may still have the Mottey.:thumbup:
