I remember well when they hooked up. Kris was a tireless worker and as Bill said, could hardly hold a cue. They made a good team and a cute couple. They were fun to be around.

I hear ya. I would hate to handicap the match but I would have to assume Billy would be the top player of the 4,,,,,,,,,,TODAY. He has stayed in pretty good shape physically but so has Grady.

You can imagine Billy down on a ball and Arite notices he is not playing safe but trying to run 8 and out from about 8' away. "WAIT A MINUTE", Artie screams. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?"!!!

No one other than Artie himself really knows how he is playing now. He says 25 years without hitting a ball. That's one of the reasons I would empty out just to watch this game. Plus, you have to be the only top OP player I have never seen play. I saw Cooney play once but he didn't have to stretch out to beat me, LOL.

You guys make this thing happen, Dick. You could make some serious cash. I know for a fact that Artie has more cash than his spelling would indicate, LOL.

Really glad we are having this discussion over here and not over there. I could be drawing heat from A & F both.

There is no doubt you are right, Jim. If people who want to improve their game can not make it to Iowa to receive personal instructions from Joe, the next best thing are the DVDs. It is so easy to understand what Joe is teaching on them. There is no technical phraseology that is hard to understand. Every word spoken on the videos is easily tranferable to your game.

I've got both of his DVDs. I really like them, because they don't give you any drills. They just present concepts. I hate the videos that show someone setting up and failing at their own drills.

There is a pretty good list of players going here ...And not to toot my own horn but Joe has helped me alot also....I was at the ACS Nationals this last June and recieved a runner up postion finnish in the standard division. ...Last year I did not even get a check...I guess we are on to something special here...I cannot say enough about how he has helped me.

Did that artical in Pool & Billiards mag say who was all at the tourney or who she had to play?
I am one of the lucky one's to have watched the tourney there. I was a young inexperinced house man back then. It was the early days of Miller Time Billiards back then.

At 15 thousand the price is getting more attractive.

My two cents

I figured I will throw my two cents in on this conversation (as if anyone cares)

I have meet with Joe 3 times. Each time he has showed me something new and amazing. I thought that I was a decent player before meeting with Joe, but since then I have seen my game going up. I make so many more banks and kicks now, it is crazy. I need to go back for some more knowledge soon. He definetly doesn't try and break the bank either. He is really cheap for the lessons that you get. He really cares more about spreading the knowledge than he cares about the money. If you are anywhere around him or near D-port IA, I would recomend not letting your chance slip away. You will not be disappointed.

I lived in Denver for many years and ran into Joe quite often. We had some real bttles on the bar box.

Joe is a brother in law to Cheyennes own Pete Trujllo who a lot of old "Scuffs" recognize as a pretty darn good player and plays all games. Plus, a pretty nice guy.

When they went on the road together, They were quite a team.

Pete double steered me into Joe, but I got real lucky and escaped. We laughed about that for a long time.

Dick, I bet you would know him if you saw him. Joe used to get around real well.. He was petty tough on the bar box back in the day.

I wish I could get some instructins real quick. I'm leavng today and driveing 600 miles to play some 1-pocket. SOmething I never thought I would do again. My wife wants me to go in for psych eval.
