Live Now: Allison Fisher vs Badi Nazhat at Predator International 10ball

Who is this Nazhat guy? Why the invite? I could beat him on a big table and I suck on a big table. I don't say that often, but come on, these are supose to be the best from their counrty. Johnnyt

I hate to burst your bubble there, Johnny, but at least he's making a valiant effort into being in this tournament. Perhaps if you're a Master BCA instructor, learn their language fluently, and bring a table or two, you can possibly make a difference and make a great player over there- you never know.

BTW, did you ever get that Filipino Pool table by any chance?

No I never saw the guy that I paid to build it again. I know where he's moved to but I'm too old and lazy to hunt him down. I'm glad you brought it back up. I think I'll have one made for two of my grand kids. I still think it'd a very good game for kids. It has to help you when you get on a real pool table. Johnnyt

Yea, I am going to consider building one as well. There are only two problems being that I don't know where to buy Filipino Apitong wood for the rails and I would not have a clue on what kind of cue specifications for playing something like that. But I say you should at least confront the guy to give you your money back when you have the chance. That's just robbery, man. And as far as your grandkids, I say you should definately make at least one for the little squirts. I know it should help in their game. :)

I did get a call through to him when he was in NY. He gave me a big sob story and song and dance. I have found as I have got older, and with my temper, it's sometimes better to just chalk the $200 up as poor judgement on my part. Too many lawyers now a days and I'm way too old to do any time. Since I was a bit whiny about lack of chat or commentary, just wanted to provide some positive input. Loving the commentators for the Hundal vs. Smith match. Very knowledgeable input they are providing. I think it's Charlie Bryant and Jerry ???

Why underestimate the capabilities and abilities of unknown players? A few years ago, many players underestimated the Spaniards and Portugeese Players, and now, they are busting the bubbles of a few US and International Players.

The same goes for the Caribbean and South American Players. We just need a little luck and the right opportunity to bust a few other bubbles. Dragon Promotions has been kind enough to grant us opportunities to prove ourselves but the time has not yet come. There are some excellent players in this Region but we need International exposure. I'm a firm believer in never underestimating anyone that has the courage to present themselves to any event, be it International or in the U.S.
