Very cool! Any live pool is always appreciated. Will be sure to imbed it on my blog (although I'm not sure if that will help or hurt viewership).

Girls?? Playing Pool??? what??? I don't get it .
I know Trigg you wanna kill me, I'm just kidding. I thought about not saying that but I was afraid that you might get banned for bad language or threatening to kill me. I will be watching every chance I get dear, and good luck. Are you gonna be in the box?? let me know I will watch just for that :)

Maybe, to your last question. :)

Can a live stream be hooked up to a TV?

I really wanted to play the Waco tourn this wknd, but am choosing to sweat this women's action instead. I've been sweating this tour in Austin for like the past 7 years. On the one hand I totally want to attend the OBchicks tournament on Saturday; I have a friend playing in it and I like to watch her play. Plus she's pretty hot. Yeah. I got a crush on my friend. She knows. On the other hand, if I stayed home I could sweat BOTH tourns on my computer. Probably. I don't know if it can handle two streams. But yeah, if you can hook a live stream up to a tv, wouldn't it be sweet to stream the Waco tourn on a tv at the Austin tourn and vice-versa? They're both Fast Eddie's. Can't they just hook their computers up or something? That'd be the nuts.

it can be done

we have done that a few times. all that is needed is the cable to plug the pc into the tv.

hdmi would probibly work best but it can be done with other cables too, like vga to rca or vga to rgb.

That was me. I have it sitting on my desk at home and I'm testing out the new headsets I bought this week. Also trying to test out other new equipment.

One step at a time....

If there are any players in particular you'd like to hear as commentators during this event, post it here and I'll see what I can do to get them on the horn while they aren't playing.

Shayla, thanks for putting up this stream. That's pretty cool. I appreciate it and I know I'm not the only one.

I attended the tourn most all day Saturday, then watched the last match on the stream. I'm a little bummed that I have to miss today because of work. I was curious if you were going to be saving the streamed matches on the ustream site, for later viewing?

Dennis

I found this thread and put the stream up on the front page under the Simonis Streaming Guide. If you streamers will just send me an email (jerry@azbilliards) with your info I will be sure to get it up in the front page so all can easily find it. I need the name of your channel, the name of the event, the dates, and the URL. Share your streams!

Yes, I'm going to try to record every match today. I had a hard time yesterday trying to remember to hit the record button, and then remembering to hit the stop button!!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I wish you would have introduced yourself to me because I'm still not sure of who you are. Maybe I'll ask the girls today.

Today will start Day 2 of the OB Cues Ladies tournament!

We had a great turnout with 55 women and after a little battle with technical difficulties, we got the streaming up and had a little fun with that in the evening. Once the evening rolls around we tend to get a little 'colorful' with the commentary. :)

Be sure to check us out today!

Play starts at 10am CST!

We're still here!

We're still streaming live!! Come join in on the fun! We're down to the final 8 of the tournament!

Down to 8 Players!

The winners side is down to Bonnie Plowman & Kyu Yi.

Losers are Helen Hayes vs Terry Petrosino playing now with Tara Williams awaiting the winner. Streaming live is Julie Comitini (formerly Mason) vs Cristina De La Garza, with Lisa Marr awaiting the winner.

Thanks to everyone that checked us out this past weekend on the stream!

We had a lot of fun once we got the technical difficulties out of the way. Now I have a to-do list on things to improve for next time.

At one point our highest number of viewers were in the 30s! Awesome!

For those interested:

1. Bonnie Plowman
2. Lisa Marr
3. Kyu Yi
4. Tara Williams
5/6. Helen Hayes
5/6. Julie Comintini (Formerly Mason) - Qualifier Winner for WPBA Great Lakes Classic Event
