A guy/ girl who makes their living on payouts from
tour events.
Not sure if that covers it but, I hope you get the idea.
By KV's estimation I have to believe that there are a lot
of guys out there that could use a supplement to this.

I'm going by several list I've seen that had only a couple 2 or 3 up near $80k....80% of the list was under $20k. Thats why many pros have to match up to survive. There is really absoultely no money in it at all. Those who aspire to make a living are in for a rude awakening.
I go along with Kevins guess of 20K. But a lot of the top players could do a lot better yearly if they stayed away from casinos, online poker, horse and dogtracks, and stop matching up just to be in the action. Most would do better letting B. Incardona or J. Helfert manage them and their money. I bet their yearly salary would triple...at least. Johnnyt
If you are looking to make a living playing a game putting balls into holes....may I suggest golf. There you can make a nice living...even if you are always at the bottom of the field.

Your right on! The game does not have the focal point. Even if Fats was not a champion with titles he was a spokesman and focal point, representative, and beloved con man. We don't have that nowadays. We need that for the game to be recognized and embraced.
