Was the rep gray or red? When a new user gives you good rep it's gray...

It's really sad these days, some people just don't have a clue.
 
Many have mentioned several times that even the forums are being watched (by TABC) to see if we talk about calcutta's, yet I think you were still talking about them. I'm not saying that deserves a neg rep, though.

alot of strange going on...... months back i got bad rep for being in kuwait for some reason. I was like so suprised.! why would anyone do that. :S I couldn't get it, but then i forgot all about it.

What's wrong with Calcutta's. We have them in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, I know we are behind times down here. Do they gamble in Texas. (just kidding) When players come to play in Louisiana and you throw the money on the table their eyes open real wide. Guess you can't do that in Texas and some other places. JMO I like Calcutta's

Calcuttas are awesome, we love them too. The TABC (Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission) does not. So like other things, they are slowly forcing us to go to LA,OK,MS,AL, Vegas...etc to have our fun!

I think they are illegal in nearly all jurisdictions in the US. I personally have no objection to them except for the problems they cause and might cause to the tournament organization. If someone wants to drop a dime on the TD, for example, it's a problem for everyone.

Folks I'm gonna host a big tournament at my house with a BIG TEXAS calcutta.

You should like the format !

Single elimination lag contest...how else can we get 128 players in and out b4 midnight ? ;)

Ties will go to the house. I really like calcuttas !

No alcohol permitted, but if you get some past me well then the house takes a cut too.

Food and drink provided you bring it.

Get here fast so I can make the mortgage !

Don't talk about it though on this forum and don't give me a neg rep !

Sorry for this silly post, but I am going to give Zach a neg. rep. just to remind him of his humble beginnings. :D

Welcome back actually ! Sorry to hear about the G/F short leash. Is she a TX groupie ?
