Why was his cue ball going towards the 8 ball anyway especially on the bar table, might have scratched even if the 8 was sitting there. Still creepy stuff and I believe the rule might have been to reset the balls.

And Lenny. Those tables are slow too so why even hit it that hard :p

Resetting the ball that falls after five seconds is good but in this case it gets sticky.
You would almost have to replay the game.

cajunbarboxplyr can you tell us how it was resolved?

Miller made them replay tye rack. There is a second part oxf the video showing it all and honestly it was the right choice. Yea you cpuld have looked at the video and seen how the cueball wpuld have maybe ended up but it wasnt fair to all the other tables to do this. Rerack. And whoever broke that game (warren) to break again and replay. It was crazy!

It took me about 6 viewings before I finally saw the 8 ball there. I kept watching, wondering what the big deal was, and why he didn't show any reaction until the last moment; when it was very clear that the CB was headed towards that pocket.

Resetting the balls is the rule that makes sense.
Snooker rules take this into account.

It happened to Tom Spencer in a set for $5,000

Yeah, I had to watch it three times before I realized the 8 was hanging in the corner pocket. I couldn't understand WTF the big deal was at first. :bash:

With the 8 ball in the pocket and therefore position on it virtually guaranteed - why play it at that pace?

The way he hit it, it looked like he was just trying to make the 7 and let the CB fly. He hit it bad even if the 8 wasn't there.

That truly has to be one of the ALL-TIME bad rolls, even with replaying the rack.

Kevin looks to have not gotten the cue ball reaction he was expecting. It looks to me like he committed to making the 7,and sending the cue ball off the opposite end rail either high or low to avoid the 9,and get closer to the 8.

If you watch it real close, you'll see the cue ball hook a bit off the end rail, telling me he might have slightly overcut the ball into the pocket, and a little bit of unintentional spin grabbed and drug the cue ball inside his intended path.

For those of you that play on those tables, they may be slow to YOU,but don't complain about it because you have it SOO much better than some of us as far as where you play :o.

On the table I get to play on most often,he'd have been REALLY lucky to have gotten the cue ball past the side pocket at the same speed,LOL. Tommy D.

Lol tommy. Yea Im happy that Diamonds is my.home rome. Not thrilled about the speed of the boxes. But yes it could always be worse

that was weird. I looked to see if he leaned on the table, set down the chalk, anything...
there's nothing. Some dude walking to his chair from the bar must have vibrated it off the ledge.
