Real sharp and loaded ebony-on-ebony Gilbert. My digital pics stink....hopefully I can replace them with some better ones by the weekend. This is the only cue he has done with silver outlines surrounding the notched ivory diamonds. He said it was quite difficult to do. Little silver dot accents in the clover, as well, and superb miter work on the corners of the ivory boxes.

Wonder if this one passes Ross's Hoppe ring test?

Great looking cue.
Really like the way the forearm came together and stands out with the choice of veneers.

So thats how the cue in your avatar turned out. Real nice. The Gilberts have a knack for taking a classic design and raising the bar. I bet it hits good too.

Sean,

This cue stands out among the finest of cues. Ebony/ebony with these veneer colors are hard to beat.

BTW, this is the 20th cuemaking year for Andy and Vicki, and they have improved every single year. Quite the special cuemakers, and very good friends of ours.

Thanks for sharing!

Tons of Ivory...
Tons of work....
Tastfully done.
Mean finish...

This cue's got a lot of +++++'s.
This year going to get a lot of amazing cues coming out.
The bar is set really high.
And cuemakers are always trying their best to improve.
This sets the stage for all to enjoy more beautful Funtional Art..
Thanks for sharing and inspiring all of us.

Great cue Sean. I hope to see you at DCC and look at it up close, it reminds me of mine just a little.

Thanks all for the comments....it really turned out nice. May be on the market very soon, too, so if anyone has an interest, please let me know.

Thanks,
Sean
