This dispute will begin a much bigger investigation by Paypal, I am sure. The website www.azbilliards.com has a sub page that is their "forums" page. They hold raffles there for pool related items. They use the lottery websites to determine the winner of these raffles. If you do a little research you will see that Paypal is being used for payment on all of these transactions. I have been told recently that these raffles are illegal and the owners/moderators of the website know this and let it continue. Here is a link to the specific raffle page with many raffles that are open and already completed. Paypal is used in every one of them.

there have been several raffles that have been rigged or somewhat unfair and that is why I want a refund. i was in a raffle that was not run correctly and I am not interested in losing my money this way.

Please look into this and make sure these raffles stop and refund my payment.

Looking at the parts I highlighted in red you throw the word "rigged" into your complaint to attract attention from PayPal and certainly imply that this raffle was rigged. You also want to stop all raffles because you feel whiney about one. Should every person that feels like they weren't treated fairly in a transaction try to shut down the sales forum too? Is it possible that you have went a wee bit overboard?

You may have been told recently that the raffles were illegal but you have been told the same thing since before there was a raffles forum too and cheerfully participated. A totally self-serving message to PayPal that tries to portray yourself as a poor babe in the woods that was taken advantage of by the big bad wolves.

why would you complain to paypal if you felt the raffle was run poorly? if you get hustled for some cash, you dont complain to the bank. just keep it in the forum

I agree Mrs.G and dont know why it has not happened yet,this is just disgusting,I am going to play some pool and hope when I look back on here later this is taken care of.The only thing I can recommend is red rep and report the post where he is threatening the site to get Mr.Wilson or Mikes attention so the matter is remedied. :cool:
 
This is ridiculous. If you really wanted to make things better and elicit a change, then you wouldn't have asked for your money back. If you want to know if it's on the up and up, ask for all the screen shots of where he got paid. That's real easy, you took screen shots of all the evidence of where you were "wronged".

Could he have done things a little better? Sure. But the guy stuck to his word. He took the lotto numbers after the received all the payments. To be the one with a network security degree, you sure seem to have trouble following things logically. He said he would be using the Powerball lottery and there were 42 spots. His other auctions that you are referring to said he would be using the Hot Lotto which is 19 spots. It's not rocket science to figure out the discrepancy between the two.

If you really wanted to make change, you would have said, "Hey Mike, I can see some room for improvement here, why don't you let me make a post in the Raffles board and sticky it for me. There was some confusion here, and I'd like to see some things change for the better.

1. Every raffle has to include a direct link to the lottery pick that you're going to use.

2. You have to post which lotto date you're going to use BEFORE you use it. If you are unable to get to a computer to let everyone know, then you'll just have to use the next lotto.

3. Anything else you can think of that will make the process go more smoothly than this has, ad nauseum."

Telling the seller, the moderators, and the site owner that things are going to get fixed or you're going to report this to Paypal is childish. Asking for your money back is ridiculous. No matter what you say to the contrary, you're still going to be the little kid who's trying to take his toys and go home.
 
I red repped him the minute I read the hisseyfit he layed against the site.
He returned the favor, LOL. I just don't get the selfish petty people in life.

Instead of dealing with the problem, he is trying to have the site shut down. LOL

Well I am going to do some chores, I hope tomorrow everything is peacefull again.

If BPG24 is in danger of being banned for this, I would personally hope there would be a chance that the members here on az could vote yes or no for a ban.

I will fight for my right to see that avatar as often as possible!

I know there is a way to turn off avatars, but is there a way to turn of text and just watch avatars?

Right click on the avatar, "Save Image As" and save it on your desktop. As long as you computer is running, you can look at it any time. You don't even have to be on the internet.
