There is a Jeff Olney cue for sale on here for $400. I'd go for that, they are great players.
 
Schon cx 33 or tuxedo cue

Both are brand new with 1 shaft. Schon is $435 shipped lower 48. Tuxedo is $365 shipped lower 48.

That Olney is pretty sweet. I have been playing a wrapless and was thinking of switching to a linen wrap though.

player for sale

hi dan,
click on this below and there's a pat diveney that i'm selling.
it's about 1/2 way down in the thread.
very solid player and i'll do 500.00 shipped 2nd day air.
19.2 oz with 2 shafts 12.80 mm and kamui med tips.
one shaft is unplayed and the other only has a couple
of hours on it.pat's going to build me a fancy one.

Here is another one for consideration

Jim Lee has one he made posted here on AZB in your range - the lower end of the range, so you could get a case or a LD shaft with it.

I currently shoot with a Jim Lee and a Sugartree, and Jim's cues are players.

It is located right here

He has the bocote one left, and bocote is a great hitting cue.

i have a couple different cues u might be intersted in i ahve a eurowest for point 4 venner 2 shafts leather wrap 99% mint con. 600$ and i have a predator p2 wrapless bem z2 shaft uniloc brandnew test hit only ebay price is 700 to 800 will sell for 600$ i ahve a david jacoby ebony with floating 4points and 16 bem diamonds 400$ a few more that are a littloe more 800 to 3000 range just pm me and i can send u all the picks and specs u want thx and GL for your hunt for a great cue.
 
Thanks for the help guys. I just bought that Cocobolo/BEM Olney. A bit of an impulse buy but since everyone talks so highly of him I figured I would give it a shot.

I have a Brand New bacote Barnhart sneaky pete that I just picked up from Cory this afternoon...19.1 ounces, 12.85mm, everest tip.

SOLD...which is a steal for one of Cory's very rare sneakies.
