It has always seemed like the strangest thing that people would snap their cues when they miss a shot or lose a game. It wasn't the cue's fault. When I ran the pro shop, I had a younger player of a very high talent level who would do that whenever he lost. I bought a dozen Eliminator sneakies for him and when he would snap one, he would come and get another one. He actually did quit breaking them when I convinced him to buy a high end cue to play with, so there is a lot of merit to what was said earlier.

Maybe he should switch to bar cues and a couple of Valium. My local pool hall will let you snap bar cues all day for $22 each.
