Looking For A New Landscaper

A few days after I got my bar box set-up on the patio my wife heard me taking pool with our lawn guy. He was telling me how he kept the table at his local bar for hours at a time for $5 a game.

My wife has went through many a landscaper in the last dozen years until she hired this guy, who she has had doing the yard for at least five years. She made me promise not to play him for money, that she didn't want to loose him. It's been very hard not to try him out, as he brags about how good he is every week he does the yard.

Well Saterday she was out shopping and he was doing the yard. While I was hitting balls around (maybe on the lemon a bit) he was telling me what I was doing wrong:mad: . To make a long story short, I beat him for $300 and a months worth of lawnwork. He left very mad and I don't believe he'll be back. I am in deep $hi* with the wife if he doesn't come back. Johnnyt
 
Johnny, looks like you're going to have to suck this one up. Buy a lawnmower, a hedgetrimmer, a leaf-blower, and a wheelbarrow.

LOL. I do most any work around the house, but I never do the lawn. Johnnyt

You have said that before. You did say that he now owes you a months worth of yard work and if he runs out on you without paying you could maybe join a lawn mowers forum and trash his reputation:wink:.
 
Johnny, can you say AIR BARRELED by the lawn boy... LOL, Take what you got and invest in some roundup and let it go.
 
If that guy comes back ill be more than shocked but if he does, play him again.
 
That's funny stuff JohnnyT maybe you should tell your wife you caught him stealing something and you had to fire him lol . It may work .

It might cost a little but flying me down would be a far better deal then the one your going to get from the wife. =) Trust me if I were as good at pool as I am at lawn care they wouldnt even have tourneys, they would just give me the added money and call it good.

If you had a REAL table, LOL , we might even play alittle when Im done saving you from the tool shed.

If you get stuck doing it your self just keep telling her "brown is beautiful". LOL.

Tell her it was his fault for talking smack to you about your game.

Who knows he may be back. If he comes back he may very well want some more thinking he just wasn't on his game that day :)
