Yeah that Dieckman guy is the USBA Prezzz.
** I think this old man Dieckman needs to learn some professional attire if he is sitting on top of the food chain as far as billiards go in U.S

When I checked out his website, the gallery section I believe, where he says the people who help him or the ppl he knows or something..I thought I will see pics of Blomdahl, Ceulamans, Jaspers or something. (I bet you have no idea who these people are LOL. If you do, perhaps you understand the background and the 3-c culture that I am coming from

The people in the pics looked like his neighbors, or the Mexican lawnmowers LOL (sorry)
There's not so many 3-C players here at AZ and you might have trouble finding what you want. If I were you, I'd be looking for an old Helmstetter wood screw cue as those were the bomb and every cue you mention is really just an extension of that original Helmstetter design (which did totally change 3-C cues - apparently forever).
** I perfectly agree with you about wood screw Adam/Helmstetter cues to have changed the 3-C game. Longoni is up there as well. I found AZ/FS forum based on an old for sale thread, an Adam top of the line cue for sale and for reasonable price, that is what brought me here.
As far as Dieckman's cues go, you might not like his website or the look of his cues or his manner of doing business, but its clear you have never actually held one or hit 3-C with one of his cue, because they are exactly what you are looking for and are fabulous for 3-C and hand made.
** I am sorry but, he is charging too much, way too much basically for his labor. There are so many pro cuemakers such as him in where I live. These people come from the 3-C culture. In my city, there are over 2000 carom tables, and it is a city of 5 mil. Perhaps this gives you an idea. It is true that I never played with Dieckman cue, but I am no way paying the amount of money he is asking especially after seeing his work. No ivories on his cues or maybe very little, so he is basically charging for his labor. I can show you dozens of home-business-operation cuemakers, people who generations of generations played 3-C, they do not even touch pool tables. Perhaps these give you an idea.
Do yourself a favor, lose the attitude and make friends here at AZ rather than just making people figure you are some a-hole. You might actually learn something, although, judging from the way you come off, that might be a very difficult task indeed. Your assertion that the cues sponsored professionals are paid to use is important in determining quality is the same reasoning that pool bangers used when the purchased Earl Strickland fiberglass Cuetecs. Perhaps you are a 3-C banger equivalent.
** If people will call me an a-hole bec. I called the new USBA Prez sticks to be average (LOL) so let it be. I do not care. 3-C and carambolage people shall wake up and see the truth. It is like the story of two tailors who made the most expensive "invisible" cloth for the king. Until the little child yelled out the truth: "The king is naked!" Hope you got my point. Listen, I am not here to make enemies or not necessarily for friends. I am simply looking for a cue. I am sorry things turned out to be this way when I called the USBA Prezz made sticks to be totally, but totally average

Just for a clarification, I did not come here on the AZ forums to dis the Dieckman cues or anything. Simply looking for what I want. But Dieckman cues and for that price? Helloooo LOL. Whoever is interested in, I can perhaps introduce you to the world of 3 cushion and its proper cues. Thank you.
*** As for your comparison to pool cues. I am not interested in buying an Adam or Longoni bec. top pros play with it. There is reasoning behind it. See for yourself on the above links about the technology, handwork and experience involved with Adam and Longoni cues. I already own an Adam Super Professional 903 and BL-02. I used to own a Longoni Ambra. I know what I am looking for. And top pros (and tens of thousands of carom better players in Europe) do play with Adams and Longonis for a reason! Schuler cues made some entrance to Euro market, but not really preferred and I played with them. I just didn't like it. I can say the butt diameter felt smaller than carom cues.
Slightly used Dieckmans and wood screw Helmstetters go (rarely) on AZ in the $500 to $800 range and that is a great deal. If that's too much, guys sell great Chinese made wood screw cues made to the original Hemstetter specs for about $80, maybe that's your speed.
** Sir, there are tons of wood screw cues around me. I know what I am looking for. Thanks
Thanks
