like usual , i got to give my vote to the J&J. Thx snapshot for advicing me, u where right. 70$ for a GODLY cue, hard to beat. i advice it to any new player i meet.
u can chose between phenolic and non phenolic tip in case the rulez dont alow u to use a phenolic tip
so my advice is, if u got:
<300$ to spend, go for the J&J. (70$ and plays better then most of the 150-200 j/b that u can find (in my opinion))
>300$ to spend, go for xbreaker.
exept a custom maybe, i dont think i would ever buy any other production j/b cue.
just a note: im a C-B player, and before the J&J , on 8ball break, i would move 2-4 balls to the kitchen area. since i got the xbreaker, i can move all 15 balls to the kitchen if i want to. It is AMAZING to break with, and it actually is pritty easy to controle the rock with it on the 9b break. (ive even played with it as my playingcue without noticing it imediatly. it feels very stable, controled, and its a excelent cue.) then jumping. I bought this cheap J&J to learn to jump, and i can only say this; took me 3 try's before it would jump, after 3 more try's, i could jump and pot, after 3 more try's, i was doing folow jump's, draw jumps, and potting over full table lenghts. It jumps AMAZINGLY easy, and other friends who didnt know how to jump all learned it with the J&J alot faster then with the other cue's they where using. Maybe its just in my head, but i LOVE and SWEAR with the cue, and id marie it too if i could
