Looking For Kayjeff

I want to thank Rattlesnake for the way he is handling this situation. Given the way things have been going on in the forum lately I think he has handled this with class and I hope it all works out for him and jeff in the end. I gave you rep points for your patience in this stressful event.

Mike

Thanks for the good words and standing by me all these while guys.. These are some of the unforeseen circumstances which none of us wanted.

I also wish to apologize to Jeff, as i started this thread that attracted some critics and dismay to him. Keeping my fingers crossed while I wait for the shipment. Hope everything is fine with Jeff.

No contact from kayjeff yet? I agree with Lisa. Contact the local authorities and let them handle it. I hate to see it go this way, but you should have gotten a phone call or email by now at the very least. I wish you luck in getting this mess straight.

Mike

At this point, I think I would contact the money service that you used to see about reversing the payment, if that is an option. I really feel badly for you on this one. We seem to have 2 or 3 people here at AZB who have sort of flown the coup lately in an uncharacteristic manner. I am really shocked by it.

A couple of us had a similar experience with an AZ'er and the solution is very simple - contact the culprit's local police department. What you will find is that while other AZ'ers who want their continued business might support them on this forum, the thief's local police do not like the idea of a thief operating out of their town, and the police WILL take action if you ask them to.

Anyone here in the Bakersfield, Ca area? That is where kayjeff (Jeff Turabaz) is located...Pollo Villa Apts? Rattlesnake has the full address, but no phone # for him. Perhaps someone in the area would be willing to lend a hand.

I feel really bad for rattlesnake on this one....it was his first custom cue purchase, and he was very excited about it. He wanted the cue so bad, that he even paid more for the cue than kayjeff was asking...by 400.00!!!

Health issues or no, someone must be taking care of things. His mother was supposed to have shipped the cue clear back in the middle of September...but rattlesnake never received confirmation that the cue actually shipped, or tracking info, for that matter. he has been unable to make contact since.

I am beginning to wonder if he ever actually got the cue back after the alleged theft......something just doesn't seem right here.

I was thinking same thing, but wanted to give him the shadow of doubt first. I really hope this is not the case but I fear it is. Things just don't add up any other way.

I found the following information through quick public internet searches. I offer it simply as a possible lead to help in contacting the person (Jeff Turabaz) who has your money and your cue and am not responsible for how you choose to use this public information.

Polo Villas Apartments
4201 Jewetta Ave
Bakersfield CA 93312
(661) 589-6566
(Perhaps you can call the office and see what information if any they would be willing to give you.)

As of February of 2006 a couple in their 50's named Abdullah F Turabaz and Rebecca L Turabaz lived at Polo Villas Apartments, unknown apartment number, and unknown phone number. There are only a couple of Turabaz's in California so I would have to think that either this is Jeff and his real name is Abdullah with Jeff being a nickname, or these are relatives he lived with, probably his parents.

It also now appears that Abdullah and Rebecca have now moved to (although there is a chance this is the former address and phone number instead of the current):
5426 Jon Dodson Dr
Agoura Hills, CA 91301
(818) 597-8936

Hope the information helps and good luck.
Kevin

Reported my case to Bakersfield, California police department on the 2nd of Oct. Referred to a Computer Crimes detective, gave him Kayjeff's details and residence address. He replied me the next day, telling me that he contacted Kayjeff. He said that Kayjeff commutes from Bakersfield to Los Angeles area for work and said he was ill and sounded like it.

Kayjeff stated that be shipping the cue on 3rd Oct 2006 (Remember he told me he asked his mum to ship the cue to me on 25th September). The detective said that he obtained the needed information from him to file a report and will hold onto it. He is not going to open an investigation or do a report unless the item is not received or refunded.

No news from Kayjeff at all. Sent the detective 2 emails, no response from him either. What is going on??

When it comes to detectives, realize that some places work 12 hours shifts, or have court cases that they have to attend and have some strange long weekends when the much needed time off arrives.
Give the police time to respond and hopefully they have pushed a few buttons to get this moving for you.

Keep a positive attitude and this will work out.
You have your AZ brothers and sisters looking out for you.

yes.. Myron is correct.. it is the weekend here.. and most detectives only do work related things during working hours.. alot of them dont take their work home with them..
