Looking for playing cue US$150 or below

$1.50

Hi all,

I'm looking for my 1st playing cue as the house cues at the new pool hall where I play are horrendous to use.

I have a budget of US$150 and it'll have to include any shipping charges to Singapore and paypal fees. Not sure if anyone has any spare cues lying around to let go.

I'm looking at production cues and don't really like fibreglass or carbon cues. Have tried Players, Cuetec and Fury cues and don't like them either.

I'd get a hold of Jimmy (Waldos) and jump on this. A few bucks more but I
think well worth it.

PM Koinnkid...he will have some. You are really close with your budget to being able to pick up one of Troy's Sneakiest Petes. They are really good, low-cost entry custom cues.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Pls keep them coming.

I prefer cues with wraps thou for a better grip.

buy cue

for $150 shipped to singapore you're asking a lot. take a look at this signed custom dale perry, USA cue maker. attached some pics. can only sell for $225 which includes shipping to singapore. the shipping overseas is high but i dont think anyone can offer you a custom cue this good for the price im quoting. this is one of my personal playing cues. 20oz, 12.75mm tip with pro taper dale perry shaft, four point with inlays, linen wrap. look around then decide if you can afford the extra few dollars, this cue is well worth it compared to any else i've seen that youve been offered. gerald

$150 to Singapore.....

that is a tough nut to crack my friend :)

I think the folks down at Waldo's (Dufferin) is a very good value and, Bama has a good idea as well -- along with some other's here too!?

The reality is that for $150 shipped is a really hard price point!? It could cost IDNO $30 to $45 to ship a cue overseas and that doesn't leave much wiggle room???

Most of us folks here want to help everyone get a good value but, if you want a "good" playing cue then IMHO your budget is a little lite for the overseas thing.

You got a few good options here and I'll leave it at that.....

Best of Luck in Your Hunt,

Ken

Thanks for all the help guys. I understand that US$150 plus shipping is abit tight but I'm just trying my luck. I thought it was no harm trying :embarrassed2: I'm looking for only production cues which i can get to try here in Singapore before I commit the purchase so custom cues are out cos I can't try them. I do understand that each production cue may not hit the same but I guess I stand a better chance with it than a custom cue.

I'm also trying to find a nice cue here in Singapore so that I can save on the shipping and use the savings on the cue.

I do have a few options at the moment and am thinking about it. Just don't wish to rush into things and buy the wrong stuff. Cheers.
