I sent 3 pics from my iPhone. They look terrible, but that's the best I can do today.

Here are the pics you sent. Thanks, bub. If you have time in the future, please get some better ones to me. But for now, these will do. Thanks again.

If Bill is selling ,i am sure he knows, but that does not look like the original road runners, both had city skylines on the butt.
2 recently sold in Dallas for $1000 and that was the highest i have seen.$1000 for the pair.

It sounds like you are talking about Meucci Road Agent cues and not the rare Road Runner Meuccis. The Road Agent Meuccis had a city skyline in the design and they came in Day and Night versions if i'm not mistaken. I'm not a Meucci expert, but i've seen a number of Meucci Road Agent cues. I've never seen a Meucci Road Runner cue like the one Bill is selling.

I always liked the Road Agent, though I am more fond of the Day Agent. I think the Day Agent is rarer than the Road/Night Agent. Neither are anything like the above Road Runner; looks or price wise.

Josh,
Thanks for posting my pics. Sorry that they are such poor quality.

As you can see, the cue represents a desert with a couple of winding ivory roads through the forearm. There is also an ivory crescent moon to the upper right of the Road Runner in the butt.

The desert rocks are inlays of stacked veneers that look like strata. The Road Runner is ebony, and the Wylie Coyote appears to be brass (I don't think its gold?)

Nobody else was doing anything like it at the time. Bob Meucci was the first guy to use a cue as a canvas.

To manufacture and market this cue, he would have to have a licensing agreement with Looney Tunes (I think Warner Brothers?) I'm guessing it would have been cost prohibitive, which would explain only a few customs being made. It doesn't say Meucci anywhere, as he may have feared copyright problems.

It is the only Meucci I own, and it is one of my favorite cues.

Thank you so much for the info and the pics. It is great for these rare cues to be seen and discussed.

PS: It took me about 15 years to find one. To this day it is the only original one I've ever seen.

Above is a page I carry to the cue shows in the hopes of seeing Bob again (I haven't seen him for about 5 years.) I want him to write a brief story about the cue and sign it on the back.

The one pictured in the Blue Book belongs to me. Bob made it for Pete Sinkler and I bought it from Pete a few years ago.

I showed it to Bob and he said he made a few of them in the early 80's. He didn't remember exactly how many, but 6 might be right?

Bob also said he made a similar themed cue recently, which might be the one Bill has? It is very different from mine.

My cue is in near new condition, but I don't know how to post pics. It is a very unique design, and was way ahead of its time. It also has big pieces of real ivory in it. I have 4 original shafts.

I wouldn't sell it for 5.
Hello, do you still own RR cue ? I am interested in owning such a cue. Thank you!

Yes I do. I'll have to go find it. I haven't looked at it in years. I'm not trying to sell it though...
Oh nice! I'm glad you ended up with Pete's cue. I sold it for him, he was a friend of mine out of the same pool room, and he knew I was good with internet stuff. I sold it to the editor of the Blue Book, and I guess he sold it to you sometime later. Pete had a ton of nice cues, Black Boars, etc.

Actually the author of all 3 Blue Books. That would be me :)
