Lost my best friend over night

Mike, I'm so saddened to hear this. I offer you and your family my deepest sympathy. My wife is also my best friend and I couldn't imagine how life would be without her. I know you have suffered along with her during her long illness and I know she is at peace now.

I am very, very sorry to hear of your loss. The grief you feel should, in part, be appeased at the thought that her suffering has ended.

Unfortunately, as we get older, we lose more of our loved ones. It is out of the "natural order" of things to lose a spouse at such a relatively young age. This only adds questions to what is an already unimaginable loss.

I can't imagine if my wife left me alone.. we have a 1year old son and he keeps our hands full. I would be totally lost in your situation. It takes tremendous strength to not TOTALLY flip out. Respect.

mike- I'm so sorry for your loss.she is in a better place now.god works in funny ways sometimes but I'm guessing he needed another "angel". good luck with the struggles ahead. I hope all goes well :)

Mike, I know how close you were to your angel. I'm so sorry and grieve for you. I'm glad she didn't suffer long and that she had you by her side. Take heart, my friend, things will be better eventually. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
