lots of kamui chalks

Those little baggies look just like the little baggies my dru.....woah wait, thinking out loud. lol

Opposed to a Product...Hardly...Just the Price!

Yes, I have never used this new chalk....you're absolutely right. I'm not opposed to the product....just the lunacy and absurdity of the price...it's even smaller in size to othe chalks so you're not only paying more but getting less. Let me be more subtle....anyone paying this price is just freakin' bonkers or so darn flushed that the only cues they play with are original Balabushka's. One does't have to reach down and touch the bottom of their shoe to see if they stepped in dog shit....you can usually smell it and this chalk has the same fragrance as that. It ain't gonna make you a better shooter even if it adheres to the cue tip a little better. The laws of physics still apply and for the price per gram....and yes you have to break it down to grams almost like you were talking drugs, blue diamond blows this product away...and master chalk...which served Mosconi pretty well over the years even when he ran 526 balls, seems to do the job acceptably as well. This chalk is a gimmick and I feel sorry for those that buy into it thinking it will improve their game.....only "Practice with Purpose" will accomplish that.

So Does That mean....

If it had been selling for say $60/case, would you have bought all 10 cases for $600 or might you have reconsidered for perhaps a different diet soda, maybe even just diet coke, selling for $11-12/case. The price analogy is comparable to what blue diamond chalk sells for vs kamui. If you used master chalk, then the case price example would be more like a $1.00 per case vs. $60 per case....I know it depends on how bad you want the lime diet coke but unless you're insane or just won the lotto, I'm betting that the diet lime coke in Walmart will be sitting there for awhile at $60/case....just a hunch but we'll see what happens with kamui. I predict it will not be anywhere nearly as successful as blue diamond which I think inspired the ridiculous price for kamui....Let's do a poll of the readers out there....how many would spend $30-35 for a piece or two of chalk vs say $7 or even $.50, maybe even less. Don't think you'll get many votes for kamui versus the alternatives.

I will confirm that it works great. Depending on the mix of shots I'm shooting, I can go 3 - 5 racks in practice without chalking easy, although in a competitive situation I think I would chalk at least once a rack, at a minimum every other rack, just to avoid that miscue that will come up when the chalk finally wears through.
Scott

I shot 62 consecutive shots, and was still counting, without miscueing using Master pre-flag green, $1 each.

If my soda was 70 a case and its avaliable, I pay the price. If I want Kamui chalk I pay 25-35 a peice. If I could get it by the case I would.

It's just my opinion but I will never pay a high amount for that chalk. The way to get the price down is for no one buy the stuff. Because if stuff dont sell they reduce the price, or stop makeing it. But if it's as good as they say and represent it to be that wouldnt happen so they would be forced to lower the price or not sell it....>>;) ED

Does that go for gas, cigs, food???? if so i see a hungry guy walking around buming smokes....ha!!! not busting your balls but you see my point i hope. I was at the forfront of the bashing before i tried it,now!! i wont use anything else, i even donated a piece leaving it on the table after a ass whooping & paid almost $40 the next day for another piece(call me nuts but thats the way it is) .....it is that good
