playing horseshoes or cornhole. If a player can't tell a dead to the nuts half ball hit of CCB to OBE and CB edge to OB center simultaneously, they need to have you create some 2D drawings to help figure it out.

I don't think they can print fibers, and without that I don't think there is any printable material that can work.
It took Predator at least 20 years to figure out how to do it. I tested one of their prototypes in 1998 and it was pretty bad. I've been told that the machining is expensive.
