info not disclosed

I am very disappointed that the information of cue wasn't disclosed to me @ time of purchase.

Yes it is so the shafts didn't roll off table.[/QUOTE said:
You didn't need a pencil, you should just do what my kid does and pour maple syrup all over the table. It wouldn't roll anywhere then!

Beautiful cue, sorry you were mis-informed:(

Rebuilt?

Explain what you mean by rebuilt. If you mean reconditioned, looks like Mike did a good job.

Is this the same BB being discursed..i mean discussed in this thread?

Yes, that is the cue. I am very sorry that someone was dishonest with you. It seems as if this cue brings out the very worst in some people. I thought after this thread (as shown in the link above) that the truth would finally be told. I lost well over $2,000 on this cue and sold this cue for $1,400 back in March.

I feel you need to let the AZ family know WHO sold this cue to you without disclosing this information.

I have not been online in a few days or I would have sent you a PM as well.

Yes!!!!

Yes, this BB cue has been outed for quite a time now, but I can understand why someone may not know about it. Some do not follow AZB as religiously as others on here.
What I can't understand is why someone would still try to pass this cue off without revealing its HISTORY.
Well, I can understand - MONEY & GREED!!!! And no regards to integrity!

THIS "SELLER" NEEDS TO BE OUTED NOW - THE PERSON THAT SOLD THIS CUE TO YOU WITHOUT REVEALING ITS HISTORY!!!!

That is the ONLY thing you can do, to make sure fellow AZB'rs are not taken by this THIEF!!!!! Because that is what this person is, and therefore the seller should be held up high in the AZB courtyard for all to see and throw stones at.

For what it's worth, I have talked to Mr. Rupard and he will be getting a letter in complete detail of everything I had to do to this cue, All work performed was disclosed to Mr. Sciannella during the process. Any time I do major work on any cue made in the States, My first step before anything is done is, I pick up the phone and call the maker and then the next step of action is discussed. As a rule, I tell the original customer and the Cue maker what was done. In my opinion those are the correct steps, For the two people I talked to on the phone, I have not, will not, and never will put any of the pictures or work in progress of any repair on an open forum, I feel it shows disrespect to the customer and to the Cue maker.

I think everything you have done in regards to this cue has been with the utmost respect and quality. You seem to have a good operating style, and a great plan of action, which just adds to your excellent reputation.

Where the problem lies with this cue, is certainly not with you. It was how a couple of the previous sellers marketed the cue without telling the history of the cue, knowing that its value would not be as great with the story told. The cue might be as good or better than when it was first created, but the fact of the matter is that it was repaired, and that changes its VALUE. It is just a fact of life in many items, not just cues. If a car was damaged and rebuilt, its value would also be influenced by this change/repair.

SHOW ME THE CUE FAX!!!!

regards to seller

The person that sold this cue to me is willing to give me a respectable refund and let me keep the cue. He never intended to sell the cue on AZ. What happened was I was interested in another cue but it was traded. He in return told me he had a Black Boar that I could buy. He was not told about the cue either so i don't want to ruin his reputation on this excellent website. As far as I am concerned he did right by investigating the cue when I PMed him regarding the cue. He immediately responded with he compensation offer and also told me I could return the cue for a full refund with shipping costs. After talking to Mike Webb and his reassurance of the cues playability I decided to keep cue and take partial refund. I hope that this helps put to rest the sellers reputation of being a "LOSER" SELLER.
