Thinking of buying something cheap to take to the bars.......Just good bang for the buck. I've been considering a Mezz ZZSP sneaky... I am also interested in Lucasi. Anybody play with one? If so, please give me your honest opinion. I realize these are made overseas, but..........Do they play decent for a cheaper cue? Thanks to all for your opinions/advice/reviews...

I had a few lucasi's. Liked them but only loved one. The only won with a radial pin. Rosewood with real veneers. Super solid and around 150 bucks. That would be my vote. Just my two cents

I have been playing with a Lucasi cocobolo cue now for quite awhile and I think for the money they are hard to beat. I honestly have hit with several custom cues and while some have hit better, not all did. If you buy one of the cheaper Lucasi models you get the same hit as the more expensive ones.
For under $200 they are hard to beat.

I have been selling Lucasis for over 10 yrs. Most bang for the buck out there. I have one I bee useing for over 10 yrs. it's droped to a breaking cue, but sometimes I use it for a shooter also. I make my own cues now and usually shoot with something I made. I beleive some of these other cues are just a lot of hiep, not any better, certainly more expencive. The cost of the cue does not make it a great shooter. Just my opinion , Buy the Lucasi, uni-lock joint, you'll Love it. Jim

The lower end Lucasi's are a decent cue for the money. But if you get into the $300+ range, the Mezz wins hands down. Better quality (Japan vs China made) and a higher performing shaft (WD700).
