First off i want to mention that CMD Chris Dickey & i have come to terms on this matter. i want to thank those that defended me, & to those that were reading, to hang me. i forgive you all [thats my way] maybe both sides should not be so judgemental on things you know nothing about. fires can be started easily, but not easily put out. by stating your opinions, your just adding fuel to the fire. my integrety was put to the test, i was as honest as i could be, with the facts presented to me. their was some opinions made, that were not true. i know my reputation has been damaged by this matter, but a lot of facts were missing, which i will not publicly state, as i don't want another fight. i'm 67 years old, my father taught me integrity. when its attacked, i get angry, because to me its one of the most important things in life. life is to short, to lie, cheat, or steal. at least i don't have to keep looking over my shoulder, to see who's sneaking up on me. many times honesty has cost me, but its the only way. hope all that posted 22 pages read this, & maybe in the future not be so easily persuaded to chose sides. regards to all. don "the SUREMANATER" sherman, AZ'er sureman183 aka Sure Man Cues

Don, you were fair with me in our dealings and I would not hesitate for a new york minute to buy from you in the future Glad you worked things out and hope to see you next year at DCC.

There will be a lynching of Don Sherman at the WCCS! After the lynching were going to auction off his cues and cases. You must be present to bid.

Don't lynch the Suremanater at the show--make him drink beer. That should be his punishment and then we can begin the auction.

I saw that thread as I am sure many others did, but I did not comment at that time. I understand what you are saying about how easy it is to damage some ones reputation and how hard it can be to fix things later.

I hope the member who started the thread in question posts to this thread. I also hope that the people who had no stake in this post to this thread or at least learn something from their actions.

It really gets old when people who have nothing to do with a transaction and do not really know the members involved have to voice their opinions blatantly.

Funny, there must be a lot of us who read the "other" thread and simply watched and waited for a resolution, knowing that there had to be more. Glad it got resolved and done. Don's always been a straight shooter and done right by me... you too, Si, I am still playing with the Tasc conversion you sent me a few years ago. How's the traffic in London town this week?

I am the member who started that thread.

Don has shipped the Gus to me as agreed.


I will say now, that I continued to say then. My intent was to communicate with Don. I never wanted to start the thread in the first place. I had hoped he would have replied before the sharks smelled blood in the water. The timing of the thread and Don's travel kept him from posting to that thread. Then it was locked, so he couldn't reply.


Don and I will have a beer together at the next show we see each other. It may be Chicago, if not definitely at the SBE if he attends.

Sir Don, First i want to congrat for both of you and Chris to make thing end well.

i'm one of many member who put a comment in the CMD thread that against you... well, as i said before.. if somebody feel that he is a Honest man and have an integrity, then somebody better to put a comment to defend theirself rightaway...that just my 2 cents.. :smile:...

Traffic has been manageable but I cancelled all my London appointments for a month. Today is the start of the real traffic, athletics started this morning.
