Machinery for a new pool hall

Ok everyone, I need some advice. If you were to buy 1 or 2 machines for a pool hall, what would you buy? I may be looking at dabbling in building cues, but mainly, tip/ferrule replacement, shaft cleaning, wraps, basic refinishing of cues.

There is a room at the pool hall that is 12x14 approx and would be perfect for a pro shop.

If you had a chance to buy some machines, what would you get?

If you can afford a couple of machines I would personally go with a Porper Model B and Chris Hightower's Deluxe. I own both and they each have advantages and I can't imagine being without either one.

What he ^ said. But you'll have to do a lot of repair work to justify the nearly $8000 price. I'd reccomend getting something simple for now, like a midsize cuesmith from Chris, and then getting the other machines if your repair demand can justify it.
 
Ask Willee if he still has his Cue Companion III for sale. It can do anything you will need to do for now, and is also able to handle full house cues easily. He is asking about $1300 last I saw, plus shipping. The option III set up costs $1595 new and Willee is including a very useful upgrade: the reversing motor, which is not in included in the factory option III package. That motor adds several hundred to the value. Just do not low ball him or he will shut you down. It is a very decent deal as it is. I paid 1200 for my well used Companion some four years ago. And it was not in as good of condition as Willee's nor did it have that motor.
The refinishing of cues may be a bit ambitious in that small space. It is dusty, dirty work, and most finishes are quite hazardous. It might be better to find a local cuemaker, and "farm out" that task for a rate that you can also make a buck on the job.
 
If your thinking about the cue companion route, I have one for sale in the machinery section. Price drop on it this morning also.
 
Thanks everyone for your input....Not sure exactly which route I will go right now. Have to finalize the deal on the poolhall in the next 2 weeks, then we will go from there. I have a lathe at home for cues, I just dont want to move it, I would rather have one at the pool hall as well..

I have a Porper B Model that is modified and a Hightower deluxe . You need something that will taper for repairs and cue making ... Both do the job ...;)
