Magic Show - Semih Sayginer

Un...real!

One thing I did notice though, when he applies normal english to the que ball (no masseing...) he drives through the ball! This is even more evident watching him do the masses. (sp) This is what I thought you needed to do, now all I have to do is excute and apply to my game...er...for follow and draw I mean. :p:D

Kind of like calling the tallest guy in the room, Shorty. I just watched the whole thing, it is awesome. If I download it, will the picture quality be better, or the same?

The same I´m afraid. I have it on videocd aswell, slightly better quality, but not perfect.

Just finished watching the whole thing. (I'm kinda' at work. :p) No words to describe his skills...none. How big is a billiards table anyway?!?!? Man, when the IPT takes off, I hope KT will think about a IBT...International Billiards Tour. These guys deserve to make some money as well.:D

The standard billiard table, these days, is 5x10.

It is a great game- actually, they: both caroms and 3cushion, are great- they are the yang to pool's yin.

I see you are in DC- there are billiard tables in Arlington, Springfeild and Annandale, VA.

Could you be more specific about those locations?

Also do you know of any local snooker tables?

Thanks.

Annandale- ? diagonally across 236 from fuddruckers, 236& gallows rd
Springfield- q-ball billiards, near 644/ rolling rd intersection.

Snooker- iirc, arlington, hi-cue has a 6x12

Great artistic billiard video. What American Player (Billiardist) can do 3C trickshot on a Carom Table? Since USA doesn't competed in Artistique Billard Tournament in Europe.
Adrian Viguera and Miguel Torres have both competed in Artistic Billiard events. Tom Rossman also shoots many of the shots when a table is available.

Semih visited the club I play at last year, and played there for a week. The club I play at, La Plaza in Hoensbroek, has some extremely good carom players and tables, and we get a demonstration from a world class player every year. Since Semih lives in Turkey he decided to stay a little longer.

Suffice it to say you don't want to play him for money at pool, forget carom. He can break pretty good, pot like a pro and you can imagine the positional play. It's just no fun, if he worked on his break he would be IPT material.

Thanks for the info! I've never shot on a 6x12, I'm interested to try some stroke drills on one, since I can only assume if you've been hitting 12' straight shots for a while, every shot on a 9' table looks like a hanger. Also it would be fun to try out 3-cushion, but without some instruction I'd really just be messing around.

Black-Balled...What's the difference? I thought carom billiards and 3-C billiards were the same thing?:D

It's one of those SAT questions:

Carom billiards is to rectangles as 3-C is to squares. Meaning that 3C is a carom game but not all carom games are three cushion!

:D :p

I'll take him...
To dinner or something because I can't beat him for sure. If I saw him do some of those shots I'd just hand him my money and say "Good day".

I wonder what kind of cloth he used? Because that is some fast cloth. It must be a formica top or something :) .

That was also a beautiful billiard table. Most Carom tables are 10's but the store owner I showed it to today thinks it might of been an 12foot.

My favorite shot was number 11.
