Make It Happen 10-ball <<<<<<<<<<<

You guys are given the chance to bring Wu Jia-Qing to the States and you're wasting it on Appleton, Dechaine, Earl, Bergman, Morra etc.

Yes, he is a fabulous player and I would love to see him play, but there really isn't much relevant drama attached to him between the other players at this time.

For example, Shane vs big Ko is now immortal.
Appleton vs Shane is ongoing
Shaw vs Appleton has a scotland vs Britain undertone.
Earl vs anyone has intensity
Now add in the Russian who is playing high level and just defeated Shane
And Niels 2014 world champ vs Ko 2015 world champ.

There are a lot of cool relevant matchups here, although Wu is an extremely talented player, I need more drama from his end. That's also why I eliminated dechaine, Bergman, from my list.

Shaw
Shane

I wouldnt mind seeing some new faces.

Big Ko
Little Ko (just beat Shaw twice at Steinway 10ball)
Wu
Chinakhov
Biado

What exactly do mean by "drama"? What Wu is supposed to do? Enlighten me, please.

maybe defeat Shane in a huge world championship final and create endless AZ debate on performances and who could beat who, etc etc, in a way Big Ko did.

Maybe come over to the U.S. and take down a US open while pointing his finger at Shane saying "you are next!"

With the make it happen, excellent pool is a given, so I'm also intrigued by the matchups. I like a little tension mixed in. Wu just doesn't bring that for me.

Cmon, didnt you find the least bit funny?
I'm still laughing at the Bloodsport reference, and Bolo Yeung kind of looks like Wu on steroids.

I did find it funny! No worries, wasn't trying to pick on you.

And I love Bloodsport! VanDamage at his brilliant best! KUMITE!!!!

Ha! That's cool.
Those van damme movies were Bit-chin with a capital "B"

That's what I see the accu-stats Make it Happen event as....a pool Kumite.
Complete with the music montage of each player training in his home country, and the little man on the side sweeping up the table at the center of the arena.

Breast Canser Awairness

One of my best freinds is going thru this . If interested , Please PM .

THE VOTES ARE IN!

The top six players have been invited and all have accepted.

Darren Appleton - Yu Hsuan "Kevin" Cheng - Thorsten Hohmann
Earl Strickland - Jayson Shaw - Shane Van Boening

Nice
After begging forgotten for many Mosconi Cups and Kings Cup, it is great to see that Thorsten is not forgotten here :D

It's possible he was not available. :yeah:

Possibly, I was just going off of

That does not "imply" the "top six players" were all invited and accepted, it flat out stakes exactly that.

It could certainly be the case that Ko was approached but had to turn it down because he was not available to play, but that make the statement you made above false. Instead it is something like

"the top 6 players were invited, 4 accepted, we invited two other players to replace the two who were unavailable and they both accepted.

Looking forward to this.
Darren blew them all away in last years edition
OK that was 8 ball but I still like Darren in this monster 10 ball match up :grin-square:
