Make It Happen 8-Ball match schedule

Accu-Stats Stream

Hi Willy,

The Live PPV will play on all I-Devices.
I have it open on both an I-Phone and an LG tablet.

While it is true that the media is Flash it is broadcast as HTML5.

Most browsers (but not all) have ceased supporting Flash because of
security issues.

We have it posted as "Flash" only because the bulk of the questions we get
ask whether the broadcasts are in Windows Media or Flash.

In the settings tab on the log in screen the customer can either choose the new HTML5 player or the old Flash player.

Good question.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim -

Hi - thanks for clarifying.. For what it's worth, I think you'd get more subscribers if you made that a bit clearer, and also if you put some type of provision on the PPV testing page that allowed the switch, when you visit the testing page on an iOS device it doesn't fall back to HTML5, it just doesn't render...

I'll be picking up this stream today...

My mobile devices work just fine..

Did I see it correctly that Shaw beat Morra 10-0 in alternate break format? If so, that seems amazing that Morra did not break and run at least one out of his 5 chances. I'll be watching today, had to work late yesterday.

It's a shame that accu-stats website and technology is so out of date. I mean that in the most helpful way, the content is top-notch but finding, and viewing matches feels like a trip back in time. Not being able to watch live streaming on mobile is a deal breaker sadly...[/QUOTE]

It works fine for me on my iPhone and iPad.

Yes shaw beat morra 10-0 alt. Break. Morra scratched a few times on the break and missed a couple tough shots. Shaw capitalized on those and ran out everytime!!!!!match literally took like 50 minutes

This is crazy. Windows Media was deprecated a decade ago and Flash has been a dead end for years, yet your website says "The Live Stream in Adobe Flash Media Format only," and you say the reason it says that is that you want people to know it doesn't work in Window Media. And it's not true that it's only available in Flash.

Come on. Those lines have been up there for years. How long does it really take to change a couple of sentences to make them accurate.

To top it off when I bought the US Open the HTML5 stream didn't work but the Flash video did.

Thanks again Willy for the good suggestions.

Updated the PPV Testing page to eliminate all mention of Flash.
Now it will just say works on all devices.
Also embedded the HTML5 player in place of the Flash player.

There ARE still dinosaurs out there who remember the old days and cling
to operating systems like XP. For those people the player will automatically revert to the
old one.

Thanks again,
Jim
