I think accu stats should do a one pocket make it happen and the basis for the invite should be with emphasis on most entertaining players. Put mikes on them and let em go. No censor, no worrying about the image of the game, just pure unadulterated entertainment. Now I know some people might say this is bad for the image of the game and blah blah blah but I believe it's the personalities that make the game and in pool that aspect is lacking. I'm not saying that pool players don't have personalities. I am saying that they are not showcased to where the viewer will
laugh, cry, feel the pain, the joy, the heartbreak, the thrill, and connect with the players. Now I'm also not saying that these players have to be the best, just the most entertaining. With that said I would first vote for Keith McCready.

In a round robin format... so every single match is "FINALS" quality and is as good or better than any double elimination tournament where the luck of the draw still has influence....

The Patrons determine the players... I have no idea from Patron to Patron as to how they vote... Personality I am sure plays a part,,, but maybe not a big part for many of the voters....

If you want characters then lobby for it like you are doing on AZ... But.... If you won't vote by putting up money to be a sponsor I would think very few will follow suit....

Straight Pool is coming in August.... Belly up or get out the wayyyyyyy!!!!!

Thank you for explaining to me how the "make it happen" works. That was enlightening information that you provided for me. As far as my idea it was merely a suggestion.

I was in no way busting your balls and everyone has a VALID opinion.... I would love to have Earl and Hatch in the ring at some point among others who will add spice to the stream... Figure out how it needs to happen and we can "Make it Happen".... We all love the characters of the game... Give me Keither with the either vs Earl the Pearl with a dose of Shane and Douchaine.. (sorry bout the old joke Mike).. Hatch to me is less of a character than lack there-of but he barks well.......

Contrary to popular belief, one-hole is Keith's best game today, has been for the last 10 years.

Because he's an offensive shooter and is capable of running out, he makes those lot-of-green shots, completes the three- and four-railers, and understands the strategy of the game thoroughly. I can't tell you how many one-pocket sessions I've sweated on the rail.

When he gambles, I think Keith would prefer one-pocket over the rotation games.

I recall this saying. One who throws mud loses ground !

That being said i think there are very few players that can talk (entertain by rambling on) and play effectively.

Short comments can be ok. Long speeches will get your backer betting against you.

Hence another saying. Open your mouth and the air goes out of your balloon !

i watched almost every match of the Make it Happen onehole, It was very good not great. Let me be clear, Pat did a great job, commentary was great, video was great.

Where it got a little weak was the race to 3 was a bit short, the 10' box was a good idea that IMO in hindsight wasnt a great plan, (i do like the 1B on the 10' box), if a couple racks go different there could have been a 4? way tie. If Cory dont beat SVB 3 in a row and one other thing SF was low man and everyone else was tied. If SF's defense the arena was too small for him and he was out of sorts anyways, he did belong there for sure. I think longer races might have made it a hair better. Shot clock was good.

Or add a day(not sure if that cost effective) and take the top guys from the RR and put them into a mini tourney for 1st place. I know thats alot more pool and might not be viable. It just seemed like it was not a true test of who was top guy, that week.

Ken did a great job as well, the time gap between matches was too long, i realize it would take lots more employees/staff to have it run all day. So what i'm talking about might not be financially sound, i dont know how many buy's they had,

i'd watch it again with the exact format, my ideas are just ideas and i dont know what works ant what wouldnt work, a 9' table for sure. the rest like longer matches etc IDK

100% for sure, he gets outside the balls game over. and he can come with a trick shot to get outside the balls. He moves good too.

I think the 10B on the 10' is great and they should get married.

It might be good for 8B not sure but could be interesting, no doubt its cool having 10' tables and for 14.1 its cool too. I just didnt like 1P on it. Seemed to take something away from 1P.

It made it an all offensive game. I did not allow the guys who move good to get to move all that much. That is the best part of one pocket. I agree a 9 footer would of bee better and a face to 4 or 5 would of been sweet. I to did not like the long breaks when a match ended quickly. I don't think they would of had any matches go that fast with a 9 footer.
I would also watch it again just to see the tallen.
