I know I'll get some flack for posting this but I'm tired of waiting for a refund. I called Mark when he came on here and posted that he would make it right with anyone that paid for the Bad Blood feed and never got it. I had filed a claim thru Paypal for a refund but when I talked to Mark he told me. In order for him to pay me I'd have to drop my claim. Well as soon as I did that he came back and told me he was wrong and I need to follow up on the claim. I told him once I closed it. It couldn't be reopened. He reasured me he would make it right If I'd just give him some time. At the time he said it would take 30 to 60 days. Well times up. I've sent him a couple of PMs left two messages on his phone and tried to email him. No luck. I'm sure someone will give me static saying I should just drop this. That it only $25 and thats no big deal. Well I didn't get what I paid for and this is no different than if you bought a Moori tip or paid for a cube of Kumui chalk and never got it. I've heard several guys on here say Mark is a stand up guy and I hope their right I guess we'll see.

Mark is a good guy. I am sure he is pretty busy trying to rectify that whole mess. A little time and it should be fine.

I think waiting over 2 months is being patient. But it's wearing thin. I agree when I met him at a show that Strickland and Archer were putting on he seemed like a real nice guy.

I will try to help you....

I will try to help you send me an email and give me the paypal address. I will forward your request to the banker of this event. While the promoter/banker did lose thousands producing this event you are certainly entitled to customer service.

I can't come out of my pocket on anything but I can offer you a 10$ discount on the Bad Blood DVD box if you want to purchase it. Money I don't see that will put a smile on your face I can handle.

Sir, you are absolutely correct in posting any issues like this. People should know. But also, pool people live on a different time frame, something akin to general contractor's time where time expands. 1 pool month = 4.378 calender months. This guy probably used your $25 to pay someone else who was waiting 4 pool months.

Mike, Thanks for the offer to help. I tried to talk to you on the chat about how bad my feed was at the time this was happening. You kept saying everything is good here and asking if I paid for the stream. At that time I asked you about a refund and you said no way. That really pissed me off. I'm sure you were catching a lot of flack at the time this was happening. I know there were a lot of people on the chat asking for a refund. I sure wouldn't have wanted to be in your shoes. But having said that I don't think you handled the complaints very well. Now I could have kept my mouth shut and just sent you my email address and hoped I'd get my money back. But at this point after the run around I've got. I doubt I'll ever see it. I did send you my email address just in case. I really do hope you have better luck on your next PPV.

thanks guys

Thanks Richie, PP 2093 and LA LOUIE. I took some shit from other members on here last time I posted about wanting my money back. It's nice to know some people on here understand where I'm coming from. All I ever wanted was what I paid for. If I can't have that then give me my money back.

You really should not have dropped the paypal claim. All of us making claims is the only way that Ustream would know that they screwed up. Ustream is who got paid and they got to keep 50% of the proceeds just for hosting the stream. So they make money and Mark and Co. lose.

I got the $25 back and as soon as Mark contacts me with a PP address to send it to then I will send it to that address.

I sent Mark an email but apparently he was deluged and couldn't respond to mine.

So if Mark says it's ok I will be more than happy to send you the $25 I got back. I intended to pay for the stream and I feel that I got my money's worth with the rebroadcast effort.

Herein lies the problem. He did purchase it and didn't get it (myself included). Personally, I think people having to pay for the DVD after they paid for the stream and didn't get it is akin to a slap in the face. In a perfect world, all of us that paid for the stream would be given a FREE DVD to make up for the lost time and money that wkend.

I get it though. Someone else got the stream money and you're getting the DVD money. Why should you take the hit when someone else got their money? Moneywise, it is a win win for you guys and a lose lose for us.

Well said if i would have gotten the DVDS that would have worked.

I agree. Having paid for the stream and never getting it and then being offered to purchase (regardless of a discount or not) the DVDs is in effect a double-dip. The OP paid for something and never received it, so IMHO the only way to make it right would be that he receive the DVDs free of charge, which by the above quote he would be willing to accept.

I wouldn't have dropped the claim if Mark hadn't told me that was the only way I'd get paid. Then as soon as I did he tells me that the only way they can keep track of who they paid is going thru PP. Thats when I told him I thought I just got screwed. Thats when he told me it might take 30 to 60 days for me to get payed. Like I said times up.

First of all this will be handled by the end of the day.

Secondly Richard Edwards (Justabanger2) in the begining sent me a email that was not very nice. Right as I was in the midst of the fallout of the whole thing. Saying basically and this is almost a quote "I feel like igot f*$cked on this deal and I want a refund or I will go on AZ forums and ruin your name. As I was reading this he called and I explained that I was going to make it right with everyone. At this point Ustream was giving us some mixed answers as to how things were going to go down and so I was uncertain myself as to how it should be handled. So I told him I will start taking names and that way I could go to them with the list and get the $$ back from them. So I did tell him to cancel his dispute and not very long after that I found out that Ustream wanted to handle everything and it would take 30-60 days. I told Richard don't cancel your dispute and he said it was too late he had already done so. Yes this was my bad and soI told him again I will make it right just please give me some time to get through all this and get more info from Ustream.

At this point everyone who wanted a refund has got it except Richard. He will get his $25.00. Richard you have created more fuss than anyone in this whole deal, I understand you want your $25.00 but the threats and barage of PMs, emails phone calls etc make people want to ignor you. Most have gone about this a little different and all have been happy and got what they wanted. Maybe a little advice for the future oh and when you want something no matter if you are in the right or not I would suggest don't start the line of communication with a threat or inthis case a promise. I guess to hurt my rep.

The whole situation was frustrating for everyone involved and still is very frustrating for some people like yourself and justa. Emotions run high in the heat of the moment (emails & calls on the first day) and people say things they later regret or didn't really mean.

It appears to me that justa did calm down and gave you the time that you asked for in order to get things worked out. Getting pissy with him for something that A) he has a right to be angry about and B) something that is the fault of something on your end of the business deal, is out of line. (imo)

If he was the one who "created more fuss than anyone in this whole deal" then maybe he should have been the first one paid instead of the last one paid. Just a thought. (squeaky wheel gets the grease and all) Another train of thought would be that if you had communicated a response to earlier emails & PM's, maybe he would not have barraged you with them later on. Just some thoughts.

First of all this will be handled by the end of the day. Snip...

Glad this is getting cleared up, let's just put this to rest and get on with life. I enjoyed the event, and I'm hopeful that there will be more in the future. We all know there can be technical issues, but they seem to get fewer and fewer as we gain more experience with streaming. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water.

Mr Hoppe, I don't respond too good to threats. That is basically what he did right out the gate.

JB, thank you for your support and kind offer. It is appreciated but I will not bother you or ask you to donate your $$. I will take care of this, thanks again.
