***MARY AVINA*** Being Streamed Now***

karma at its fiinest. I didnt see the stream but dont fault tina and omg for letting her have it. If they took it too far then it wasnt on purpose.

U get caught up in the moment and things happend and things get said. But mary broiught all of this on herself. u cant talk bad about other girls and their games and then expect to be greeted warmly at their events.

Im sure it was a one time thing. Im just sorry I missed it. :(

Oh Herro....

That was me just so you know

Tina
Great tournament and I had a very enjoyable time commentating on your awesome matches. You never let us down in the firepower department! Congratulations!

Melissa
Thank you for organizing the event and the tour! A lot of people have spoken about revitalizing the women's pool scene in Southern California but you are the first to take action in a decade.

Everyone Else
I ain't gonna lie -- I had a hell of a time in the booth this weekend! Thanks for putting up with me (those of you who did) and I shall take this opportunity to recuse myself from the honor of commentating Ms. Avina's matches in the future.

OMG "Yeah, That Was Me!" WTF

I've always been a big fan of "epicaricacy".

I also like occasional "Poetic Justice".

I'm sorry...I digress...back to the thread:

Mary has always been a big fan of Mary

I love to see more attractive girls playing pool, yes granted most of them are going to suck but that's ok i will beat them anyway lol just like i beat the men. But seriously most players suck period, men to. Is just that nobody notices them on the other hand Any girl walks in a pool hall plays real pool get noticed no mater her skill level and specially if she is half way attractive. I know i get hit on by pros and silly pool hall junkies like crazy. Is just that us fem player are so outnumbered for every real fem player there is 1,000 guys just as good or at least hardcore which makes us stand out a bit. In the big picture anything that brings positive attention to pool is good for the sport. More attention may equal more money and that's good. If u don't want the money i will take it lol

hugs

alstl,

It wasn't that I was upset at Jay! His voice is just one I hear readily. Where the commentators sit isn't far from where we play. It was the same thing when I played the US Bar Table Championships and he commentated a lot of my matches. I walked over to let him know I could hear him there as well. I'm not sure if it because I have known him 17 years or what it is, I just tune into to his voice. Each time he is around, I ask (almost beg!) for him to provide commentary, it has nothing to do with him personally that I put on my ipod.

I can tune out a lot of things, people walking by, general goings on around me, but I can't shut off my ears. When I saw that Lauren was playing with one, I put mine in not only to block out some very loud people elsewhere in the room, but because I enjoy playing with it in.

I'm sorry if you thought that any negativity was addressed to Jay. Please tell me how well you do if you were playing a match you cared about and you could hear a play by play of your match while you were down, it would bother you. Not because of the person commentating at all, just because you could hear.

You missed the point. I understand why that his voice sharked you. I just thought it was funny after the derogatory comments about the other gal while she was playing, assuming the table was the same distance from the commentators in that match.

Wasn't giving you a hard time, I'm glad you won the tournament but it was funny to see.
