matches you suggest watching on YouTube?

[Darkridder]

Lately I've been looking up names mentioned on this site on YouTube and watching matches.

Was wondering if you have a favorite one?
One with great commentary, great safety play, or a real solid match.

Or i guess just your favorite YouTube video about billiards.

Let's see em!

I typically watch all of the one pocket matches on Youtube.

After watching with commentary, it is tougher watching them without.

I enjoy watching Jayson Shaw vs. Mika Immonen at turning stone. It makes me feel better that every now and then even professionals get stomped on.

One of my favorites is Efren Reyes in his prime at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ex9VAjvxZ98 (it's in four parts; this is part one).

Added bonus: Grady Matthews and Billy Incardona commentating.

Efren's play was outstanding,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

This is also a great one for safety play and shot-making; Van Boening vs. Shaw at Turning Stone 2013. Unfortunately it's missing the first 2 racks.

Mike Howerton and Billy Incardona (or maybe it's Danny D) doing the commentary. Another example of how commentary can add or detract from a video (this is an "add" example IMHO).

There is a 10b match from a past sbe that is mika vs. clatterbuck.

Mika gets manhandled by a guy who plays pool for a year at a time, every 3 yrs.

Another real good group of matches is the one that the fast Lenny put up from ca. Pagulayan, frost and shuff, Schmidt and Deuel too iirc.

This is a crazy one pocket match between Scott Frost and John Schmidt:

Scott intentionally fouls about 10 times in a row and gets deep in the negatives lol. Great match!
