It's okay if Keith wants to make excuses for a loss. A lot of people do it. But it should also be okay for people to view them as such (empty excuses) without you resorting to bully tactics and labeling those people as trolls (as is your wont in situations like this, from what I've seen).
You're the one that came on this thread and directed your "sour groups much" comment to me. The only time you have ever posted on this forum to me is when you want to inject mean-spirited comments, sarcasm, and flippant replies. You are the true definition of a troll, in my eyes. Never once have you written anything positive to anything I have contributed, and I have contributed positive threads/posts on this forum, pool-related threads/posts, quite often. The proof is in the reading when it comes to your trolling.
Keith is the one that made the statement about the gaffe table, but it's quite obvious, to me at least, you never read the entire thread before you trolled.
Again, Keith doesn't give a hoot about losing; Keith does care when someobdy dissminates untruths, especially when it comes from those who weren't there, and demeans him as a pool player. Pool is Keith's life, and it does affect him.
You keep on coming back and replying to me, though. I'm working on a job that ain't due yet, so I have all the time in the world.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and we're all entitled to think one player is better than another. Deal with it. Every criticism you level at others can equally be applied to yourself.
From the admittedly small sample of clips I've seen of both players, my money would not be on your man - not now, not ever, gaff table or buzzed.

Believe me, if this discussion was about Matlock vs., say, Jesse Bowen, just to pick a player's name at random, Thaiger wouldn't even post in this thread, but he and I have a history, so he gets jollies posting in this thread because I'm in it. That's what trolls do. :smile:

I don't see how 'class and grace' matter a lick in a gambling match, nor how an abstract notion of being a 'true champion' might equate to more success in the venues where these matches took place. I might agree about fundamentals if McCready didn't have the natural talent to render them a moot point.
If anything, McCready's strut and physical presence at the table would be a challenging thing to overcome, you must admit, at least sometimes, whereas Matlock's 'class and grace' and aura of 'championship quality' would never have any impact on Keith.
Edge to Keith, imo.
