Hi,
I have a cue by McDermott that is real carbon fiber. I'm wondering if anyone has worked with this material before? And is familiar with this certain cues construction? It is way too heavy for me, 17.7 oz butt. It doesn't have a weight bolt either, just a tiny screw holding the bumper in. I'm wondering if the butt can be drilled out or taken down on a lathe to take off 3-4 oz since I like a really light stick? Would it be possible then to re-clear coat an make the stick new looking again?
Thanks,
Tim
