Anyone ever play there? I would like to find some 9 foot tables and a good room to play in.

It's spelled Colombia, and I've been reliably told that the country is wild for billiards but not pool. Pool tables available for commercial play are said to be EXTREMELY rare. But good luck with your search. GF
 
I am going to state the obvious and say be VERY careful where you go and who you get locked up with down there...

I am pretty sure there is very little on God's green Earth that would convince me to go there...
 
I'm kinda working. Lots of spare time. I rented a bicicleta and have been riding around the streets and mountains. This is about my 6th time here and have found it very safe. I would like to try some pool here.

Super big action in Nicaragua.We were thinking of going play a Guy there..They bet10-20 a set easy and offered us free girls for the whole stay..ha ha of course it was money from illegal enterprises but who cares..Believe it or not.Honor amongst thieves really doea apply.As long as u don't get off the beaten path in Columbia and don't just try to hustle ppl i doubt u will have any issues..Unless a war breaks out..ha ha

I was recently in Bogota for work and I asked some of the local employees where we could go shoot some pool. They felt it was too risky for me. I did not argue. You should be very careful if you find a room on your own. Do not go unless you are accompanied by a trusted local and they feel it is safe.

I have never seen but apparently Medellin, Columbia is one of the top 10 retirement city. Outside US, the countries in central and south america make up 7/8 out of 10 countries as best place to retire.

Not sure what the hell I'm doing living Singapore and hanging out in Bangkok!!! (Spanish is so much easier to learn than Thai!!!).
 
Road the bicycle around town again. I found Club Master Billares. Super nice pool hall. It has one pocket table and around 15 billiard tables. I also found Acadimia de Billares. This one is downtown, not as nice but looks ok. It has four pocket tables.

Tomorrow I'm going to try out Masters. I hope someone speaks a little English.
