God Bless all who are serving and have served to keep us free.
Lest any wonder if you were appreciated, let me say, THANK YOU!

sorry if this isn't in the correct place but . . .

In my opinion, there is no place that is not correct to post this!

Today is not National BBQ day ...... It is Memorial Day. Parents teach your children what this day is REALLY about! God bless all those who have served and died to give us the freedom that we enjoy.

For those who have served, and are still serving let's not forget them on Veterans Day in November. Today, on Memorial Day, let's remember those who have died to protect this country.

Thanks military dudes.

My wife wanted me to remind you that a lot of the military dudes aren't dudes. ;)

She's a recently discharged disabled vet. Disabled in the Middle East.

Of course today is the day to remember, but let's never forget on other days as well.

To all whom have served,

MIA'S & KIA'S...You are lost but not forgotten.

Current Military Servicememebers...F.I.D.O. we await your return.

The Holiday that honers those that make all other holidays possible.

Remember but do not morn, be joyful and thankful for what they have provided us. Treat and protect those freedoms and the values they represent and never let them be taken.
Their cost was high.

I agree fully. Let's value Memorial Day for what it really is intended:
"Memorial Day was created as an occasion to honor those who have paid the ultimate price to ensure our freedom. It is our opportunity to stop and give thanks for the many who have died protecting that freedom."

Memorial Day does not stop with only the Service Men who have paid the ultimate price but to any and all that have given their lives to ensure our freedom: police officers, firefighters, private citizens, and all the others.

Thank You

Great thread, Thommy. I like it. I thank you for it as well. Appreciation is something these days that people do not know much about. For what ever reason.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.
