No, I will not be speaking any longer than usual as I've actually been taking less time every year to speak. I just want everyone to sit back and watch the worlds greatest players. Enjoy the week. I'm tired of talking about the situation so let's just play pool and watch instead of me foaming at the mouth."
 
Absolutely agree with Barry's statement, thanks for posting it and thanks to Barry for providing the update.

I am sure there will be a number of people who just cannot let it go and will still be giving their opinions of Barry, the ABP or both.

Good luck with your excellent US Open this year Mr Behrman, I hope there is a full field and a ton of spectators. I hope all of the APB pros attend to support your event. The Pro Am format can be a way to build up the sport and I hope this one draws some interested Amateurs and all of the premier high end Pros.

I don't mind the talking and the green jackets and all.
I like the way past champions are honored.

Barry, if you're reading this, please remember one thing: Don't ever forget who *you* are. Without you, the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship would not even be in existence.

And talk as long as you want to. I enjoy hearing the subject matter of pool, and unfortunately, most of the historical data can only be gotten by word of mouth, so keep on rapping!

US Open

Of all the tournaments the US Open is my favorite. Barry and Shannon do a great job every year for everyone and I can't wait to go this year. I look forward to it every year and I hope this year will be one of the best US Opens to date.

Barry, it's your party, do what you want. And how you want to... With all the blood, sweat and tears you have invested in The US Open, you are entitled to do as you wish.

Congratulations to all concerned on making this happen again. Best of luck to everyone playing, and I hope this is a bang-up year for Barry and the sponsors, too.

I couldn't agree more. Some people may not realize how much Barry has meant to men's pro pool.

I am now boycotting all press releases and statements made by, or on behalf of, Barry Behrman.

Once my association hires a lawyer, who knows nothing about Barry or his statement/press releases, we will release a press release of our own.

Wait till next year. Barry will come up with something to eliminate all this. The last thing he wants is some outsider jerking around in his business. Number 1, get rid of all the free entries he gives out.

great News - Roll out the Red Carpet and let the games begin- I've been around and remember the camel Tour days. This is a great event to Gage ourselves against the best in the world!!! I'm glad it got Ironed out! Thanks Mr. Barry Behrman and sig other,refs ,workers, too. When are people going to figure out they need to stay united? together!!!
