Message From Barry Behrman

I will end my boycott if Barry gives me free entry and puts me up in a hotel.

Until then the ABBBA (Al's Basement Ball Bangers Association) will continue to boycott this event.

I also need at least the 5 and out and the break from the pros.

SuperJerry

I agree. Thanks, Jerry.

Me too...

this fellow was instrumental in helping the two sides get together...

That's the coolest picture I've ever seen on AzBilliards!

How did you get Jerry to pose for that up in the clouds, Rick?

I am happy for all involved.

I do like this statement. I have and still will maintain these sentiments.

Wait till next year. Barry will come up with something to eliminate all this. The last thing he wants is some outsider jerking around in his business. Number 1, get rid of all the free entries he gives out.

Easy....his head's always been in the clouds!! (just kidding)

What this guy does behind the scenes is extraordinary. Not just in pool, but life in general.

Thanks for all you do Jerry.

The sad thing is, this may be a "shot across the bow" for the rest of the tournaments, or industry in general, to follow. If Barry eliminates the "free entry for life" for the past champions, who's next? Will the DCC do the same for past "Master of the Table" awardees, or the same for the Louis Roberts Action and Entertainment awardees, the moment something goes wrong with payouts, or if there's a tiff with a player?

One part of me *wants* Barry to do this, if for nothing else, to put the an everlasting reminder (and capper) on the damage that the ABP did.

The other part of me doesn't want Barry to eliminate the free entries for the past champions, because it might set a bad precedent for the industry.

Yes, if for no other reason than to let these guys know that for every action, there is a reaction. Maybe they will think twice the next time around
the negotiation table.
