Meucci Cue are the best cues ever made.

3 meuccis all completely diffrent

I own 3 meucci cues

#1 ST-2 original logo - 1986 - Cue plays great , never an issue bought in 1987

#2 O-1 Signature logo bought 1990 - dosent play bad , but the inlays lifted , butt cap came loose , had it refinished and rewrapped , around 2000 and no issues since

#3 HOF-1 - gifted 2004 beautiful cue , hits like Damnit - feels clunky would rather play with a house cue with slip on tip , but its pretty , probably have not played a dozen racks with it in the 10 years I have owned it , but its a gift from the missus so it sits in the cue rack looking pretty

In My opinion Meuccis pre 1990 were ok cues not the greatest by any means ( I feel Joss had them beat hands down) , prices were not to bad , but in 1990 the price went up and the quality went out the window

Once I hit a shaft on my Meucci to see how long will be vibrating and two days later I came to my garage and it was still vibrating. It stopped two weeks later. But I guess it was because of the weather,it was winter and everything was frozen those days.

Since the shaft is vibrating so much, you can always give it to your wife,im sure she will be very happy :D

Never said they were great cues, my opinion was that all the early meucci cues pre 2000 that I played with were good enough that I did not think you could use them as an excuse for poor play - period and what idiot does not know that 9 ball requires more cue ball movement than any other frequently played pool game? I will play him for $500 a set with one of my Meucci's! Also, do not believe for a minute that mcdermott sold more than 3 X meucci during pool's 86 to 96 comeback years. I saw way more Meucci's than mcdermotts in that time period. mikemosconi

In old days I think they were a lot better but now there just made bbad my buddy bought new one it come in with cracks had bad wobble

Someone had to have hacked into his account. JB would never make a post this absurd. I mean come on......he could be laughed out of business for a comment like this.

There was a time when this was an opinion shared by many ... including me. I played with a Meucci in the late 80s and 90s. The quality then was superb and it the quality of that cue today is still great. Today, I have two Schons now fitted with OB shafts. And my next cue will likely be an OB.

It's funny ... Meucci back then is like Predator now ... a reputation for being at the front of the innovation cycle for cue technology with many, many pros playing on them. Back then, you had Efren, Earl, Rempe, Loree, Ewa, and many others on Meucci ... just like Predator today with their laundry list of paid pros.

Question ... will our children and grandchildren be trash-talking Predator tomorrow like the newbs do with Meucci today?

I've owned at least a dozen Meucci Originals and still own one today. I liked the hit on the bar rags playing 8 and 9 ball. The slower cloth and the big rock were tailor made for the whippy shafts.

They never held up too well, especially breaking with them. But they were cheap and easy to get, so I bought a new one about every 6 months. The coated Irish linen wraps are probably my favorite to play with to this day.

I shoot with a D-11 McDermott that plays good, right now. I think it hits better than my Meucci. Does this mean I'm trolling/baiting this thread? :D

Best,
Mike

I use a McDermott RS-11 with a Meucci Pro shaft. What does that mean? It means I have a McMeucci I guess.

In my opinion, Meucci cues are the most well constructed and best hitting cues ever made.

I agree. Would love to see some of the pictures of the Meucci Cues made in China.

Love my Meucci Cues!

Tried all the rest......and always went back to the best----my Meucci!

Actually, it was more than 3 times as many - are you really stupid enough to think
the truth is only what YOU saw?

I have changed my opinion. Now, in my opinion Meucci cues are the worst constructed and worst hitting cues ever made.

I see what you have tried here.

In a previous Thread, John stated that myself and others on the board are easily manipulated and he could prove it.

This is just Clinical Testing for the masses.

BTW. I like my Meucci PP-1. Have I been manipulated now by answering in a positive fashion?

Carry on John. With whatever game yer playing now.
